The Proposal Currently the eNetherlands and eBelgium are in a Union with one another. As it stands now the union is organized in a very unstructured way. Basically there is a military unit that has members of both countries and the people who fight in these military units work in companies of this MU and get supplies ever other day. When it comes to orders the CP of Belgium and the Netherlands give the orders based on where the priority lies.
Problems with the Current situation
1) The current situation is far from ideal. Right now the head of the MU and the CP make decisions, and there is no explaination of what is going on to the public. Players are not informed of the big picture and need to figure things out by what they see in the media. There in lies the first problem. There is no information going to the people. Only those on IRC (when online) get an idea of whats going on.
2) The second problem is that what happens if the UK also decides to attack Belgium as well as the eNL? What would happen then? Where would the priority of the military unit be?
3) What happens if extra funding is needed? Where does it come from? Do we pay an equal amount for the MU fighting to defend dutch territories or does one country pay for everything?
4) Why is it called a Union when infact it I just a joint military unit?
It can be more than what it currently is.
This union can be much more than a military union. It can be One Nationality. One Economy. One Army. One Culture. One Country. One Union.
The Benefits of a Union Economy: Under one flag we would have one currency. Since there is more people buying and selling that currency it would mean a more stabilized money market. So basically it would be easier and cheaper to buy and sell currencies.
Also we would all benefit from each other’s resources. That being High Wood and High Grain regions.
Also a union would combine the workforces. A larger workforce would mean higher paying jobs, which would mean more products being sold locally. In the end it would benefit workers and employers.
If the union were to take place under the Belgian flag then all the NLG would be exchanged for BEF. (Current price of BEF is 0.03 en NLG is 0.035) This would mean printing BEF and exchanging it for outstanding NLG. In case of a split in the union an exchange for Bef for NLG would be able to take place.
Military: Under a union the military would be fighting for one cause. That is the eBenelux. Under a union we would only need to sign one MPP and no need to sign MPPs for one country only. So the costs there alone would be significant.
With this in mind the country would not need to be officially neutral. We would have one military chain of command and only one CP to take orders from.
Another benefit of this union would be that if the country is attacked we would have the firepower of all citizens, MU or no MU. This firepower boost could easily make the difference between winning and losing a battle. (ie. See the current campaign of the UK vs NL)
Government: This brings me to the finaly point: politics. In a union we would have a larger base of government. More players, more ideas and a more active congress. With a union there would be more political parties. However to discourage parties from being nationality based, we would ask that the political parties be based on political factions and not on nationality. We would therefore ask from refraining from making a Belgian or a dutch only party. Since there would be many different citizens we would need to adopt an official language for the forums (probably English). Besides this we would have a single national forum. This would mean more active forum as well as discussions. In the end politics would be more centralized and more active. This would add more excitement and a greater challenge to the game.
Under all these aspects one sacrifice would need to be made. That is one country would need to give up their in game nationality. Seeing that eBelgium has 128 active citizens and the eNetherlands 94, it would mean that the union would take place under the eBE flag.
Before a final agreement is made there would need to be an agreement on who gets what if the union ends. Also other things like the forum location, IRC location, and possibly a basis for a constitution.
A union under one flag would benefit all citizens of both countries.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
