"In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women." - Tony Montana

Power in the world of e-Sim seems to only be measured in damage these days.

Which country does the most damage? Which Military Unit? Which citizen? These statistics are widely sought after by players and made available through the standard game tools.

Like I mentioned in my first article , coordination (RIP Laskar Ngapak ) plays a major role in winning at the group level. But as individuals, let's face it, weapons rule the world. Wise people say to never bring a knife to a gunfight. Well, I bring 155 guns:

Sadly, this habit does not come without cost. Getting the most out of each day with a Q5 house, a Q5 estate, 15 Q5 food, 15 Q5 gifts, and an arsenal of Q1 guns requires a considerable amount of gold each week. A full contingent of Q5 weapons requires a queen's ransom of gold:

Even accounting for a growing population, gun usage is on the rise. In September, 45.6% of all fights were with a weapon. So far in December, it is 63.8%. Some of this trend can be attributed to higher economic skills leading to higher productivity, higher wages, and cheaper goods.

It is also interesting to look at the trends of each weapon quality:

From September to December, Q1 usage grew by almost 50%. Q2 usage remained flat. Q3 usage grew by 33%. Q4 usage actually dropped by 50% (???).

Perhaps most astonishing is that Q5 weapon usage grew by over 150%! That cannot be explained by skill/wage increases alone, and surely reflects a growing willingness to buy gold. Congratulations, Railman!

Anyway, enough about guns and their shady past. Let's talk about gold: here and now! The following data is from the two-week period from December 6th through 19th (Days 103 - 116).

For the record, I am applying the following market rates to each weapon quality:
Q1 0.033g
Q2 0.068g
Q3 0.095g
Q4 0.145g
Q5 0.185g

Oh look! The highest population countries are on top. Boring!

Sorted by Gold Spent per Active* citizen. *Active: someone who fought during this period.

There appears to be a tier of citizens in Denmark, Malaysia, South Korea (o/), Montenegro, and Norway that spend approximately 10g per week on weapons. Although Greece is noteworthy due to its size, the next tier is a significant drop down to 7g per week,

Now before these fierce chihuahuas get big heads, they should realize that their entire country is out-gunned by Kyxcorp Prime...

*Note: Member counts above 50 reflect one citizen fighting, leaving the MU, and his slot being filled by someone else who also fought during this time frame.

The top 20 gold spenders over the two-week period:

From December 6th through December 19th, over 115,000g worth of weapons was used. That is almost 12,000 euro per week! The most expensive battle was Western Russia with 3,878g worth of weapons used:

Q1 : 57,619
Q2 : 1,832
Q3 : 5,409
Q4 : 280
Q5 : 7,015

I noticed some other articles tack on tasteless fluff to get extra votes. Since it appeared to be working, here you go! Chicks with guns!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
