The Downlow
With pretty consistent and unchanging alliances since nearly Day 1, this war made waves throughout e-sim because it resulted in Portugal's change of sides, leaving OGD behind to join SUP's side of the battlefield. The war was pretty short-lived as UK fell quickly but signs of retaliation are still present and strong. As I write this UK is winning a London RW 5-1 and are causing a ruccus in Cork & Kerry, the Portuguese Ireland colony.
My prediction
Portugal will become bored and since they are not heavily invested in the high diamonds, when UK pushes hard enough Portugal will fall back, secure Ireland and expand elsewhere.
The Downlow
This rivalry is not as strong as some of the others which is why it currently in the 9th position. Lithuania's ownership of Finland, Russia and Latvia has hardly been contested. This recent Moscow RW is an example of how close Russia can get to winning.
My Prediction
Lithuania will remain in Russia for a very long time. They have many companies in the high grain and have one of the most potent military forces in the game.
The Downlow
While this one is not as concrete as the others since there are no direct wars between the two nations, there has been plenty of tension in the air. When jackist left office, it was decided that gagan (a foreigner) would be successor, instead of the clear 2nd place by vote, Hunno because of his former SK ties. It is clear many Americans dislike South Korea. Furthermore, the mere start of a Taipei RW as a drain by an american, ruffled some Korean feathers and now you can spot Koreans all over American battles causing them troubles at t-2.
My Prediction
Nobody wants to be on South Korea's radar when they're blood thirsty. USA will definitely lose some of their colonies, and South Korea will eventually move on to messing with some other poor enemy.
The Downlow
Switzerland conquered Austria back when Poland owned Switzlerand's high diamonds. This was their means to get a high region. Austria for a long time was nearly non-existant. But since Jackist and his mastercard came to Austria, they've been getting steadily stronger and have now nearly completed full liberation.
My Prediction
Jackist's presence in Austria will definitely help attract many e-simmers to join it and enjoy a different e-sim experience than they're used to in their regular nations. Expect Austria to continue their increase in power.
The Downlow
As you all know there is no direct war between these 2 countries but being 2 of the most powerful countries in opposing alliances, it wasn't a surprise when Poland dealt 60M dmg through Italy in Naples and it resulted in Greece being kicked out of Italy. Seeing how they both border each other things could get feisty at a moment's notice.
My Prediction
Poland DoWs Greece. Greece overpowers them with their massive amount of tanks + buffs and end up sending Poland back out of Turkey.
The Downlow
This has been an ongoing conflict for quite some time. The fact that Croatia is managing to counter attack Hungarian core regions is pretty impressive considering Serbia owns half the Crotian regions and Croatia is often overwhelmed by Hungary. Has this match up levelled out?
My Prediction
Unfortunately, I believe not. Hungary, with the help of SUP if necessary will stop Croatia's push short and probably go back on the offensive.
The Downlow
Slovakia was wiped pretty much right away. However, they are strong enough to temporarily hold their own with strong battles timed at opportune moments. There's constantly 1 or even 2 Slovakian regions on the map, they're the perfect definition of a thorn in Hungary's side.
My Prediction
I don't think they will be fully liberated for a long time, unless something major happens, since Slovakia is not strong enough to maintain their regions once they've been freed.
The Downlow
France DoWed Belgium expecting an easy invasion. They're now wiped and looking like huge fools.
My Prediction
As great as it is to see a a small country beating a bigger one (citizen count) I don't think this will go on for too long since Belgium doesn't have enough depth to constantly fight off RWs long term.
The Downlow
This is one of the longest lasting conflicts in secura. Sweden conquered Denmark as soon as the country was released. Months later, Denmark built up the firepower to fight back and gain a solid reputation among its allies to make this war a pretty even contest. cubuffs described it perfectly by saying this war is Size (Sweden) vs Efficiency (Denmark).
My Prediction
Denmark doesn't have enough depth to permanently hold regions, but Sweden is too unorganized to invade Denmark. Unless something drastic changes, this will go on for a while.
The Downlow
This has been the biggest hot spot through the week. All of SUP came to Spain's aid and USA's 5 high empire is slowly starting to crumble, while after months of being wiped Spain is rising once again. With UK wiped out, Greece kicked out of Italy and now USA losing in Spain, has SUP reached a new level of unstoppable?
My Prediction
USA will keep struggling until they elect a new CP. Only then will they have a legitimate shot at bouncing back. The current one is always asleep when USA is awake.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
