Ok, sure, I am biased. I am in Denmark, and its my newspaper, so I have the joys of deciding what makes the top 10 and what doesn't. If you don't like it, make your own top 10! But hey, Denmark is going to appear twice this issue for two very different reasons. Both reasons I think are extremely valid. So, here goes with the first!
What is the allure with Norway and Denmark? Two of the smallest countries, both high regions are not worth much, actually Norway doesn't even own theirs, but still, every single battle is one of the highest in-demand battles in secura.

A BATTLE BETWEEN DENMARK AND NORWAY. 7 of the top 20 MU's are assigned to this battle! WHAT THE SCHIZZLE! No wonder Norway and Denmark are getting big hitters moving to their countries. Why....coz this is where the action is at!
INDONESIA QUITS OGD! Look, anyone in the know realizes that OGD is very vulnerable right now. The alliance seems to be going from bad to worse. Indonesia is OGD's latest casualty. It seems that the initial interest in anti SUP alliances is slowly diminishing and soon by the looks of it, it will be SUP v PRO SUP v Neutrals. To be honest I think that a change is needed (perhaps DELTA needs to re-form!). Rumour has it that Canada soon might be moving away from the OGD deal soon as their proposed CP's are looking to cancel their NAP and fight for CEC. Alot is about to happen me thinks. Maybe its time for a few new alliances to rise from the ashes.

FRANCE FIGHTS BACK! After being completely hammered by Belgium, France has got their ducks in a row and fought back this week. The Norway elections are heating up! For those not aware what is going on in Norway just take a look at their shoutbox! It is a power struggle between many many different countries. In their elections they have 6 different people going for the CP job . We have Lithuanians, Portuguese, Swedish, Greeks but is anyone there truly representing Norway. All of them say that they have got the Norwegian community in their hearts but by the looks of it, it seems that it is just yet another power struggle to make Norway their own nations puppet. Regardless of the outcome, lets hope that who ever wins this CP bout, that the puck up with some balls and fight against their oppressors.
When it comes to a baby boom, some nations know how to do it, some don't. Brazil had a cracker of a day on 162 and with 10 hours left in the day they managed to get 126 new players. The main man behind this operation seems to be

THE BATTLE OF CORK . Without a doubt, I think that this battle will go down as one of the most pivotal battles in secura thus far. The reason is that another 11 regions, including two high territories, depended on this territory. This went down to the wire. 15 rounds of heavyweight v heavyweight. 5 of the top 10 MU's in the battle! All in all, it wasnt the biggest battle, registering 150,672,351 damage but I think that the fact that this lead to a complete collapse of their domination in the UK. After chatting to a few guys from the UK on IRC, I am led to believe that the Portugal invasion of UK was planned to a certain extent. Portugal regained Cork, and all is well for Portugal.
This week, Denmark hit a benchmark in esim. They were the first nation to register over 1 billion damage with less than 100 citizens. Now, this may not seem like a big deal, but it is! Denmark managed to reach this mark before many larger nations. For sometime Montenegro had been tipped to claim this prize, however, Denmark managed to acquire a few impressive additions to the country, and this boosted them up dramatically!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
