I didn’t really knew what to write for the first article, but it seems that I ended by writing a tutorial. The tutorial is about: How to join on Mibbit. Mibbit is used to chat and it can be used to improve the communication on e-Sim. I think that many of you may know how to use it, but maybe there are some new players that will find this useful.
So here I go.
Notes:
- this article reffers to Mibbit
- the link: http://www.mibbit.com/chat
- the USA channel: #secura.usa
- It is recommended to enter commands in Rizon tab or in PM with you!
- It is necessary to own a mailing address other besides Yahoo, Hotmail or Facebook! I recommend Gmail!
- when you are in the User Panel, save after each change!
- Rizon's commands are written with "/".
You can join even if you don’t complete those steps, but if you dont do them your nick won’t be secured and it might be used by other players too.
Step 1 : the interface
Step 2 : the registration of your nick
To register your nick, you need to type the following command: / ns REGISTER password email where password is the password that you desire and email is the email address where the password will be recorded.
Step 3 : the confirmation of your registration
Check your inbox mail address (the email that you typed on step 2). There you will find an email from Rizon Services with a command that you need to write with “copy and paste” for confirmation.
It goes like this: / msg NickServ AUTHCODE or/ msg NickServ confirm code
Note: If some time has passed and you have not received the email, use this command: / msg NickServ cancel password and redo step 1!
Step 4 : authentication
In order to login you must use the command / ns identify password.
Step 5 : the registration on Mibbit
To create a Mibbit account, you must click create an account from the User Panel. It takes only a few seconds and requires no confirmation. After you finish, you will be automatically logged. The User Panel will look like this:
Step 6 : automatic authentication
To login automatically, click on Account from the User Panel. Fill in your email address, then on My IRC accounts click on -> Add new entry and fill in the following way:
Server: irc.rizon.net
Nick: nick
Password: password
Auth Method: NickServ
Charset: UTF-8
Note: the white X in a red circle means no mistake, that is the delete button.
Step 7 : automatic multichannel authentication
To automatically enter the channels you want, click on the Channels from the User Panel. From here, click Add new entry, and then fill in the following way:
Server: irc.rizon.net
Channels: channel / channels you want (separated by commas)
Auto Connect: ✔
Note: If you want to fit more channels you use commas between them!
Note: : If a channel has a password, you will enter it after the channel, separated by a space!
Note: : From now you enter on Mibbit Chat with this link: http://www.mibbit.com/chat , then click on Login in User Panel!
Some commands:
/j #channel -> to join a channel ( instead of “channel” type the name of the channel that you want to join, it goes the same for "your name" or "your mail" )
/nick your name-> It changes your nickname
/ns set PASSWORD your password -> It changes your password
/ns set MAIL your mail -> changes your e-mail adress
/ns set GREET your text -> it changes the greeting message (only usable in the channels where you are „operator” )
/msg NickServ RESETPASS yournick -> it sends an „reset password e-mail” (in case you forgot your password)
/msg NickServ INFO someones nick -> shows you minimal informations about someones nick
/whois someones nick -> it shows detalied informations about someones nick (he has to be online)
/who IP -> it shows all the nicknames which are using the ip that you type
Your nick – refers to the desired nick that you want to have
Your password – refers to the password that you want to have

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
