BTW, if there is an event you think worthy of place in the top 10, please send me an in game message during the week. It is tough to be able to scan the entire events that occur in secura.
Thank you to those who sent suggestions in for the top 10.
HERE ARE THE TOP 10 NEWS EVENTS FROM THIS WEEK
Number 10:
It seems like the United States has finally woken up and realized that congressman don't need to wait 15 minutes to start a new RW. This turn of events may have just paved a way for USA to try to turn the tides a little in secura. I've been a major critic of USA over the past few weeks and to be honest rightly so. I think we were all of the thought that their CP Hunno (an ex-SK high roller) would have turned things around. Since his original activity to gain the CP spot, things have gone blank. And then I was informed that he sold a US elite MU to South Korea because they needed gold. Mmm....me thinks USA is getting rolled here.
Number 9:
This may not seem like a news worthy event, however, this week the time at the top RH corner was reverted back to esim time! Hallelujah! For those in HQ positions, we all know what an absolute pain in the a$$ it was trying to figure out strike times with everyone from all around the world. Kudo's to the admin for repairing this!
Number 8:
Bosnia and Herzegovina is back on the map! Months and months have passed from their occupation and it seems that one of the driving forces has been VVV, which is strange, as a few of the territories given back were territories of their allied nation Romania. Is there trouble in paradise, who knows. I searched for evidence to support a possible NAP however I could not find one. In any case, great news for Bosnia and Herzegovina, bad news for Romania.
Number 7:
CHILE! Who would have thought! Only a few weeks ago I was stating that Chile had possibly the most abysmal community in esim! Now look at them! They have absolutely smashed Argentina and completely conquered them. An enormous effort for a nation with less than 100 citizens. It will be interesting to see if Argentina, traditionally a strong nation in esim can bounce back with a few solid wins.
Number 6:
WCIP disbanded. Quite frankly, this should be in the top 5, but I think we can safely say that WCIP's development in the game has been , well, disappointing. Many were hoping that this was the alliance that would thwart VVV's progress. Look, I think that with organization, understanding and sacrifice, WCIP could have really made a huge impact in the game. But too much internal struggle, and now countries fighting each other has resulted in the demise of WCIP. Will another alliance rise from the ashes, only time will tell.
Number 5:
Did anyone realize that Indonesia is actually the combination of India and Multinesia - Indonesia? True story! Nah, Indonesia made a mess of India and now have them owned. This is becoming a trend where each week a VVV is annihilating another nation. Sure this might be getting boring for people, but I can assure you that the VVV members are having a field day.
Number 4:
Oh how history can turn on its head. Brazil was originally conquered by Portugal and now the apprentice has become the master as Brazil has demolished Portugal. It seemed like only moments ago that Portugal was a powerhouse controlling Ireland easily and disposing of Canada. Now its Portugal in trouble as Brazil and VVV have made the nation part of their empire. For Portugal, a nation known for their Merc Units, they will really have to band together to get their nations back.
Number 3:
Oh how I wanted this to be number 1 this week, but alas, it was not meant to be. Delta (along with a few other foreign MU's) attacked Poland's core region of Silesia. What started off with a few hiccups (a nail biting race to the DoW), Delta took the lead with two from two rounds. But after that, it was all Poland, and to be frank it was no contest. Scanning through the rounds you may say some were close, but it was hardly close considering that nearly every round they had 15 SK'ers and 15 Polish players just sitting their with their trigger fingers incase. Of notable mention was Blitzkrieg, chalking up 131 million damage in the battle and the small 10 member Swedish MU of Delta Squad racking up a cool 46 million damage.
Number 2:
I think this week VVV really displayed that they are the true definition of an alliance. Under siege in all directions, VVV showed dedication, organization and brute force. They did not lose a single RW in what I like to call the "Battle of Day 213". To make it even more impressive, in all of these battles they hardly lost a single round. All of the other nations will need to do much better than this if they want to even try to win back a few of their territories. VVV is quite frankly, "Brilliant", and with the disorganization and arguments in secura right now, there is no stopping them. VVV have certainly got their ducks in a row!
AND THE NUMBER 1 MOMENT FOR THIS WEEK IS?
I don't think that anyone can ignore the progress that Canada has made this week. They have gone from a nation struggling to get friends to a nation that is dominating! They have taken the all important high regions of Ireland and United Kingdom and their economy is booming with the highest productivity of any of the unaffiliated nations. To display how much they have progressed as an unaffiliated nation, they actually have more production than some of the VVV countries! Bolliver Sockwash produced what I think was a magnificent article and at the end of the day, Canada is in the best position that they have ever been in secura. Major Kudo's have to go to Canada. Despite what many may think (me included), this is the best possible outcome for Canada. They have spread their maple syrup around! As we speak though, it seems that Delta has a bit of a Vendetta against their once friends and are starting to take them to town.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
