After the Exodus

Staying Alive
A simple five point plan to keep Denmark as a thriving country which has influence on global politics

Denmark use to host many of the worlds’ media moguls and in the top five we use to constantly have at least one article sometimes three! Yet no longer is Denmark a media hot-spot after the mass exodus of Blitzkrieg and many other influential players.

Denmark use to be one of the most clutch countries in the world with at times the highest damage per citizen rating, yet after nearly everyone has left I highly doubt we are as high as we once were. We led one of the most organized Alliances in the world – Delta. However the glory has left Denmark as OwenHargreaves led the Military Unit Blitzkrieg to Peru for a fresh start!

With a growing German Empire south of Denmark and the country falling apart what should Denmark do to survive?

1. Stay in Delta: This is probably one of the least controversial ideas proposed in this article as well as the most obvious. Delta contains many former Danish players and is one of the most organized, thoughtful and fair Alliances around. Denmark will be able to help Delta in many ways and Delta will protect our borders.

2. Create a Government Military Unit: Denmark needs a Military Unit to be the power behind Denmark! Military Units bring people close together as seen with Blitzkrieg to such an extent when the leader packed up to go, everyone followed. It brings a sense of community, belonging and with set Military Orders even two-clickers will know where to strike for the motherland! I personally have up to 80G I’ll be willing to donate to this cause.

3. Create an Economic Plan: Denmark has the most useless High Region in the game beyond a doubt. High Wood. Denmark has never had a strong economy because of this and likely never will. In no position to invade other countries, we may find a strong economy in a Commune System by creating companies in other countries (either run by the M.U or Denmark Org), or do something similar to what Jackist had in mine with ‘The Empire’ and let an ally country such as Sweden take our High Region so our economies become one. This is merely an idea and will need much thought by ALL citizens of Denmark and may even be put to Public Referendum.

4. Be wary about accepting citizenship applications: With such a terribly small amount of people, Denmark can easily be PTO’d (Political Take Over) by immigrants. Every Congressmen should be told not to accept CS’s unless approved by Congress as a whole. One idea is to let people who wish to obtain Danish Citizenship fight in our Government M.U and if they stay for a set amount of time, are of good character and perhaps talk on IRC every once in awhile, they’ll be accepted!

5. Donating Congress Medal Gold: This practice is as old as I’ve been in Denmark. The Government needs a source of revenue and the most obvious since we have no strong economy is Congress Medals. Congress members who refuse to do this should be disallowed to run for re-election by Party Leaders.

Hail Denmark!
Hail Delta!
Hail Secura!

Edited

Military Unit Conversation: Owen has offered to sell Denmark this Military Unit for 200-250G. I am willing if Congress votes to buy it out, to put 90G up front for it and have the country pay the rest. If we use the gold gained from Congress Medals we'll have 190G for this Military Unit purchase as it is!

Economy Conversation: Congressmen Jamada and Kuroireaper have articulated the idea of a Zero-Tax Economy. Jamada has also articulated his experience running a Commune system that he use to run in Canada. Perhaps Denmark can have Congressmen Jamada lead a Commune System as we implement a Zero-Tax Economy? Talks about renting our region out is also still on the table.

Black-List Conversation: As proposed by Congressmen Kuroireaper a black-list for Danish Citizens who work against Denmark could be implemented. These members would not be allowed to run in Congress (if it can be helped), not be allowed in the Government MU's or to work in the Companies.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
