Welcome to e-Sim,

If you follow this tutorial you will get a quick understanding of what this game is about. In the Netherlands we speak mainly English so it is accessible to foreigners as well (right now we need them). Currently Poland is a very strong country and occupied some of our lands. You have come at the right time, we all need to train and work hard to get stronger to fight off the Polish from our homelands. Through this tutorial you will get a quick insight about the game. I divided it in a couple of sections:

1. FIND A JOB
2. START TRAINING
3. Experience points
4a. Products (Raw Materials)
4b. Products (Finished Goods

With graphics I will try to explain how it all works. You can easily browse through the tutorial by clicking on the topic you are interested in.

1. Find a job

Like in real life in order to survive you need money, in the Croatia we use HRK . There are multiple ways to get money. When you read through this tutorial you will find them in more detail. For now we will focus on getting you a job.
When you go to market --> Job market you will see the following screen:

This is an example of Poland because for the Netherlands there is not yet a job for skill 1.The government is working on this as we speak. You can move for instance to Poland to find a job there for now. I will explain later how you move. On the Job market you can select which country you want to find a job in (You have always to be present in that country to work there) and what level skill the minimal requirement is (You can find this on your profile next to: Economy Skill)

Once you have applied for a job you will come in the screen of the company you applied for and you have a ‘Work now’ button. Click there and you worked. You can work only once every day and after working you gain:
- Economy Skill
- Wage minus taxes
- 5 experience points

This was section one of the tutorial, now we will move on to section 2.

2. Training

The second vital thing to do on a daily basis is training. On your daily tasks (under the left status bar) you will see every day the train button. Another way to reach the train page is through: My Placed --> Train once you press the button train you will see the following screen:

Your strength raises at every training. The first couple of trainings it is 20 points per time then 10, 5, and after 160 days of training you will gain only 2.5 strength a day. This screen also displays your military ranking and total amount of damage dealt as well as the damage per Q weapon you would do when fighting.

You can train only once a day and you will receive every day:
- Strength points
- 5 experience points

Fighting will be explained more thoroughly in the military module section, but for now I will explain quickly how this works. The damage you deal depends on a couple of variables:

- Your strength
- Your military rank
- Your weapon

And additionally:
- Your military unit
- Your location at the time of fighting
- The deployed infrastructure at the region you are fighting

Your military rank depends on the total amount of damage you have dealt, on this page you can see how much damage you have to do in order to advance. To advance to the rank ‘Private’ you will have to reach 500 damage (total damage). To see how much damage you have dealt already you can go to either your profile or to the train page. Every rank gives you additional percentages bonus damage.

You can fight with a weapon or without a weapon. When you start you probably don’t have enough money to buy weapons so you fight barehanded. If you decide in the future to fight with weapons you get an % damage bonus which can also be found here .

How to fight and additional factors which affect your damage will be explained in the Military Module section.

Now we will go to section 3 Experience points

3. Experience points

The third section will go over the experience points and what you can do with them. Experience points you can gain from several events within e-Sim. It is pretty clear how this works. On this wiki page: http://wiki.e-sim.org/en/Experience you can find how many experience points(xp) you will receive for which activities, how many xp you need to advance to the next level, and what features you unlock. Additionally from level 7 onward you receive 5 Gold for every advancement in experience.

4. Products
On e-Sim there are a handful products which I will briefly describe and how they are produced.

First of all you have raw materials. These materials are needed to produce their final good. Raw materials are mined or harvested from companies. However the region the company is located in affects the productivity. This is like in real life, for example in Canada there is Oil but its harder to get than in Saudi Arabia. On e-Sim there is a similar system. There are medium regions which give the productivity a factor 0.75 and there are high regions which give a productivity factor of 1. The following resources are available on e-Sim.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
