Hello there my fellow Australians,
This is not an article about a candidacy or for congratulating Australia for our first, crucial party. Instead this is an article about an ambitious plan to make Australia a leading force in eSim (as much as possible for our size). Sorry about the long read, skip to the end to get a run-down.
1-Why Gold is Important:
We all know the importance of gold, gold let's us build companies, buy currency, upgrade MUs, print currency, for trading, creating newspapers, stock companies, etc. It is crucial for most actions in-game and the more a country has the more it can flex its economic force.
A strong economic force directly contributes to the military force of a country think of it, an influx of companies lead to more products which leads to cheaper prices and therefore higher accessibility to players of all levels. An influx of companies may lead to a lack of employees which may in turn may lead to an influx of workers coming to work here which give us more, better products for cheaper.
Aside for the complex company system (which isn't as simple as I explained it there), a direct influence of gold is the upgrading of MU level or people in them, if an MU does 100k damage as individual players each upgrade does 5k or 5% up to 20k-- each day! This is not negligible especially when this bouns is spread over 50 players and multiple MUs.
In essence, gold is the heart and soul of this game and is crucial for a country's military success.
2-How to get Gold:
Common joke around this server is the power of the credit card to buy gold, truth is the majority of players will acquire gold only through the mean of badges (mainly Super Solider, Hard Worker, Battle Hero, respectively) and leveling. In practice, less active players will usually receive their first non-leveling gold after one month of playing (SS/HW). This means before day 30 the value of gold will likely be considerably higher than it will be in the future.
3-Is there a way around this?
Yes, one method of acquiring gold that is seldom spoken about is cheating-- well sort of.
The epic Media Mogul Medal or MMM is a badge awarded for each 100 subscribers to one's newspaper. The large difference between this and other badges is that is it not time sensitive (e.g. Congressmen have elections, BH have better time than others etc.). In other words, every player could, in theory have >180 MMM each if every player on the server subbed to them at one time (never going to happen, obviously).
4-So what?
This means with an active community and MMM gold could essentially be created out of thin air. Removing the 2 gold cost of newspaper creation 3 Gold per MMM. I believe Australia and allies have this capacity and will organize a subbing system next article with a list of a few Australian/ allies newspapers to sub.
5-Is it worth it?
It depends how willing, successful, and active players are. Australia and Peru alone currently total 151+196 = 347players. If five percent are successful (which is less than optimistic) this means 17 players are successful *3Gold = 51 Gold for these players/ countries in only a few clicks. Obviously it could be up to 1041 Gold but that's virtually impossible.
6-How? I will post an article with a list of a few places to sub as well as rewards for doing so-- everyone wins (I'll explain soon)!
Keep your eyes peeled for next article and make some gold!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
