This time, a soldier who have fought bravely for our country have been interviewed. Our Minister of Defense, Doomsday94. He with a few others have made what Denmark is today. A free nation. A proud nation.

He is still a soldier in the military unit, Blitzkrieg. They were one of the main powers that helped us secure the freedom.

Hey Doomsday94. can you introduce yourself for the people?
Sure, I'm Doomsday94, I've been in Denmark since pretty much the beginning, having moved here as part of Blitzkrieg.

I've been Minister of Defense a few times, and I am currently MoD right now! Though I am actually British, I really want to help Denmark improve its place in eSim, even more so with Blitz leaving.

What are you're doing as Minister of Defense?
In all honesty, not that much!

Mostly, I set orders for the Danish MU and give instructions every now and then in the shout box, so we can help out Delta. But I also help coordinate battles on IRC when I have time to.

Are you concern about the Norway war with Sweden?
Not particularly, over the last week, Delta has been busy elsewhere, which has given Norway a chance.

But soon Delta will be able to turn their focus back to Norway for a bit, and keep them in their place.

It is no secret that you have helped Denmark a lot, capturing back our country. What will you do to help our brothers in the Macklenburg and Western Pomerania region?
Sadly, there is little Denmark can do.

Germany are well organized and powerful, and we simply don't have the military strength to take a region and hold it for a long time. It is a shame, but Denmark is going to find another way to grow.

According to the rumors, a lot of our congressmen ain't that active. Do you have any plans how to activate them?
Looking through the congress elections from today, I know about half of them are on IRC quite a bit.

Others just do it for the gold, or don't realize they are needed to help Denmark. And a handful don't / won't use IRC, which is fine.

But I do take issue with those who complain about people being inactive, but are not that active themselves, or offer no advice on how to solve the issue.

What do you think Denmark need most at this time?
Right now, Denmark needs to find a new niche in eSim.

We are never going to be a military power, our borders and high region saw to that.

But there is a possibility of making Denmark into something of an economic powerhouse, and making it a place for people to buy and sell their goods. And we could all make money if it works.

We know from other congressmen that you want to open a nationally Stock Market. Can you tell us any information about that?
Well, the plan is to make a central Stock Company which holds all of Denmark's companies.

The idea would be that everyone chips in some gold for a share, then works together to make the SC, and themselves, profit.

For newer players, I would also look to give food as supplies, to help them progress a bit, but everyone would get a cut of the profit too. We just need to make sure everyone will buy in!

When it are reality, who will be the manager of the company?
I have discussed this with Kurt (Our vice president), and the current suggestion is to have one of Denmark's Orgs run it, so whoever is CP or part of the cabinet, will run it.

But, I want to stress I really want it to be fairly equal, so that everyone has a vote, and that the company will do what the majority wants.

So i expect the CEO of the company won't only be Congressmen? If the Danes will so.
The people with access to the orgs tend to be congress, but the CEO is effectively a group of people who have access to them.

But it would be possible that someone else could be CEO, but I think it would be in Denmark's best interest if that didn't become the case.

I know the war havent been active for 2 months, but official were still at war with Netherlands. When will it stop?
When either of us can be bothered to set up the law. But that costs money, and seeing as we need all the gold we can get, we won't be doing it any time soon.

But an unofficial peace-agreement is on the table?
Yeah and then Germany is in the way, it would mean war with them to get to the other.

Do you want higher or lower taxes?
Lower import tax, as that helps our market, but the others? Not sure yet. I will need to think about it after the SC is in place.

Do you see yourself as MoD in the next period?
I might be. But I may also run for CP, depends how much time I will have.

Final question. Do you think the Party leaders need to take their job more serius?
Not really, it is weird role in eSim.

No party really stands for anything, people join the one that means they are most likely to get in to congress. Everyone acts for the good of the eCountry.

In some cases when people are joining a party to go for congress, then immediately leave, I think the leader should be making sure they veto their application.

I thank you for you're time. Do you got any last words to the people?
You guys should better be ready for some changes! And better be willing to donate a few gold to the cause! And anytime, it was good talking to you.

Once again we thank you for you're time.

In Denmark I'm born and in Denmark I will die.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
