Dear Austrian Citizens,
I am writing this article today to tell you that I am running for the office of President in our fine country. We are at a crossroads right now with threats to our sovereignty as a nation. There are many problems that exist in our country right now which my cabinet and I will seek out to resolve to the best of our ability, but before we get to that I would like to introduce myself more thoroughly to those who may not know me as well as others.
I came to this country half a year ago because I wanted to join a small country which was more of a community and a group of players where we aim to help each other become greater not only as players but also as a country together. Since then I have been a part of the government in every term as a congressman and as the MoIA which many of you know me from. I am also an officer in one of Austria’s finest MUs Black Panthers where I help distribute supplies there. I have made a lot of friends along the way and at the same time haven’t been afraid to do what is right for Austria.
Before we go any further I would like to introduce you to my cabinet which consists of trustworthy players who have helped Austria in the past and will continue to help out our country in their respective positions.

These positions are all very important and need to be done to ensure the safety and efficiency of our country. You can trust me that I have picked the some of the finest, honest, and most loyal players that were available to do the job.
Now I will state my opinions on some of our problems we face as a country and what my team and I will do to try and solve them to make Austria a greater place.
Economy
The economy is a major problem in Austria right now. We really do not have much of an economy due to us not controlling any territories with resources and companies in them. This leads to new players not being able to find jobs so they can’t work when they first join and they leave the game etc. Not having an economy also means that we do not get nearly enough taxes to be able to support our country. We cannot afford to properly defend ourselves against hostile countries or help support our citizens because we don’t have the money to do so. There is only one way to get a good economy and that is to get bigger as a country. I will address this problem later on in the article.
Tyrol
I know Tyrol is part of an economy but this deserves a paragraph on its own. To clarify our current situation on Tyrol: We are renting it to Germany and they pay a majority of the taxes they get from it to us. This is the best situation for us right now as we cannot defend it on our own. If we were to end the renting deal with Germany another country would surely come and take the territory for itself and we wouldn’t get any taxes. Germany is our friend and ally and this is the best situation for us right now. I know some are not happy with it but it is what is best.
Foreign Affairs
We have friendly relations with many countries around us due to work by previous governments. We will look to continue these relations and also strengthen them while at the same time build new ones to ensure our safety as a country. I know that many people want to join some sort of alliance but there are many problems that go along with that. First you get a lot of friends but you get just as many if not more enemies. Also we are a small country and many successful alliances would find us to be more of a problem to for them as we cannot put out as much damage as it would take to defend us therefore making them weaker. Neutrality for a small country such as Austria is the best way to go in most cases. If something changes and the right alliance which will benefit us wants Austria to join we will surely do what is best for our country.
Baby boom
As I said earlier in this article many of our problems stem from not having enough citizens in Austria. I will not be like other players I will not promise you a baby boom and getting a bunch more citizens and never following through with it. What I can promise you is my personal dedication to try to get new citizens in Austria and help them to get jobs and learn the game so they stay active and help out Austria. I will also be looking for volunteers to help me in this process. This is something that cannot happen in a day, a week, and sometimes even a month. I promise you though that we will dedicate ourselves to the task.
Political Take Over
A PTO is one of Austria’s biggest problems right now. Our country is full of people who want to take advantage of our country for gold and medals. These people are the lowliest of E-sim players who only think of themselves and want to wreck all the work we as citizens have done for Austria for personal gain, ruining all that we have done in the process. To stop this problem we cannot allow them to run for congress or win presidential elections. We need to be smart as a congressman and not accept those who want to hurt our country and as party leaders not to let people run for congress who accept anyone they want to. If we work together we can surely solve this problem
Communication
This is something that will be very important to me as president. I will make sure the citizens of Austria know what is going on in our country. I want people to know what is going on and to hear your opinions and ideas about what is best for Austria. I will work hand in hand with congress and the citizens of Austria to make Austria better. Another aspect of communication is I would like to help out new players more and make sure they understand the game so that when we get new players they don’t get confused and quit the game. This will include sending all new players messages welcoming them to the country and answering any questions they may have.
In closing I want to thank all of you for taking the time to read my long article. I hope that after reading it you are more informed and that you will vote for me on the 5th of this month. I promise you that I will completely dedicate myself to the task of president and that I will do what is best for Austria.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
