HERE ARE THE TOP 10 NEWS EVENTS FROM THIS WEEK

Number 10:

This week there was a massive changes to the equipment module with the ability to split items. This has had big effects to the auction market making what was known as useless items expensive again. The biggest effect has been on Armour! What was one of the most prized bits of equipments has been devalued greatly since the equipment created from splitting is random!

Number 9:

Want to get your congress medal? Move to Denmark! It's only natural that a nation of 63 citizens will struggle to get 20 congress applicants, but 12! C'mon! Even Montenegro managed to figure out 15 people to apply for congress.

Number 8:

South Korea in Sleep mode? No doubt I will receive a burst of comments by the South Koreans, and granted it is summer in the United States, but there is no question at all that activity has been reduced in what is traditionally known as the most active nation in secura. (By the way, I'm not one to talk about lack of activity, I've been two clicking for about a month). This is most clearly shown in the latest edition of clutch updates . No denying the strength of their MU's taking out 1st and 3rd, but the most obvious change is the individual clutch rating. What was filled with SKers, only 3 round out the top 20 this 2 week period.

Number 7:

I'm going to give The Sledge's Thumbs down to Delta this week. I have been away for a while, but seriously WTF. Delta's strength and respect came from a no BS approach to the game, to attacks, and to NAP's, but lately, I'm not too sure what is going on. Peru backed down from Yucatan, and then to put the icing on the cake, Peru gave up 7 DS2's to let Chile block Indonesia. I thought this was a dumb move, let alone chicken sh!t moves usually associated with other alliances, as it doesn't give the Peruvian citizens a chance to used some precious buffs. With what used to be secura's most tightest alliance, Delta seems to be esims 'loose cannon' at the moment adding and removing members willy nilly.

Number 6:

Slovakia has been the big movers and shakers this week. They have taken many regions and now they have their sights set on Switzerland. 5 regions taken in six days, and as many RW's secured. Slovakia is looking really great!

Also, were my eyes deceiving me. I'm certain the other week Slovakia topped the citizens list a few days ago. Am I imagining things?

Number 5:

Look, of course I am going to show some bias here, but it looks like Australia is going down the brown creek once again. After several months involved with Delta, they got kicked out and their new CP Morbid_One seems to be taking Australia back to the stone age. (They were in the diamond age with their high diamonds being quite secure). Of course I don't know the whole story, perhaps a lucrative rental deal is in place, but looking at the facts, despite Al being a true Aussie citizen, with the recent influx of Indonesian citizenship approvals, it seems that Australia is in a spot of bother and might be controlled by Indonesia for some time.

Diplomacy (or lack thereof) is in full force as seen in this article, with Sweden asking the new Aussie CP to step down

Number 4:

USA have been spreading their wings once again. After successful negotiations and alliance acceptances by their previous CP, using their new found friends, USA have looked even further to the deep south, South America. With Delta backing off on some of their territories to help contain this expansion, only time will tell if USA have stretched their wings just a hair too much.

Number 3:

The lowlands of Europe has been one of the safest areas (and boring areas) in secura. Blessed with terrible resources, no one really seems to want to even bother moving into these territories. This is Federation controlled territories. However, 5 hours ago, France declared war on Belgium. This is great for this region. We all know that military activity also promotes activity, so no doubt these citizens are hoping that this battle rages on for some time.

Number 2:

Two admin moves this week kinda perplexed me a little!

1) 50% More Damage for a 24h period
2) 100% extra time for premium subscribers

Some notice wouldn't have gone astray for the 50% extra damage. Suckers like me we stuck on 0 gifts and 0 food. Fun!

And what what what. Look, I'm not sure what prompted this but it seems that abit of a hint might have been given by kyxoan when he shouted.

I love how I skyped railman saying how its BS that premium is only 14 days and now theres a sale.

AND THE NUMBER 1 MOMENT FOR THIS WEEK IS?

Project Penghu! Taiwan has been wiped off the map for months on end, and yesterday sparked the moment where Taiwan finally bucked up and decided to provide some resistance. And they did it in style, smashing the South Koreans 8-0. Mind you though, South Korea and her allies didn't really bother, but what I found great and potentially alarming for South Korea is the amount of damage that Taiwan pulled out in this battle, a cool 74.7 million!

Well done on Taiwanese freedom!

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
