DISCLAIMER: LOOK, WE ALL LOVE THIS GAME. IF WE DIDN'T, WE WOULD NOT DEDICATE SO MUCH TIME TO THIS GAME, AND PEOPLE WOULD NOT DISH OUT THEIR OWN MONEY. BUT, I DECIDED TO MAKE THE 'SAD EDITION', SINCE IT SEEMS THAT RECENTLY SAD EVENTS SEEM TO BE TAKING OVER THE GAME.

PLEASE LISTEN TO US STAFF MEMBERS, WE ARE, AFTER ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS

THIS IS TOO SAD, I CAN'T EVEN ADD PICTURES.

HERE ARE THE TOP 10 SAD NEWS EVENTS FROM THE LAST FEW WEEKS

Number 10:

Border control? Look, no doubt people will be up in arms about this, but seriously, logic must prevail here. One source of inequality in the game is the amount of borders available to each nation, and the issue is becoming more apparent. Some countries link with 3 countries, thus giving 3 possibilities of expansion. Others link with 5 or 6 countries, thus giving 5 or 6 possible routes of expansion. Sure, they can get attacked by more countries, but the point is 'possibilities'. Also, lets not dwell on 'past' borders that used to exist (hint hint Poland). If we want to bark up that tree, heck, make everything linked to Italy for when the Roman Empire dominated!

Number 9:

Where have the rivalries gone? Where have all the characters gone! Come back Kamal! As much as these dudes just got on our nerves, I think when it comes down to it, we miss these guys. They provided entertainment, got us excited about the game, everyone used to get excited for Zinky sledging (but then everything started getting deleted) so he had to tone down (which is disappointing), the South Koreans have all become nice (what the heck is up with that!). Controversy is an uber important part of the game. We need controversial figures to step up to the plate again.

Case and Point being the current Australian CP. Damn he has created quite the sh!te storm, but hey, by far the most interesting thing to have happened in the game in ages! Kudos to Al!

Number 8:

It seems that honour is being stripped from this game. Gentleman's agreements mean absolutely nothing these days. Yep, I'm talking about NAP Breaking. This really gets on my nerves. When an agreement is made, you stick to it. No ifs, no buts. Sure, people try to make conditions in their NAP documentation, but as we all know, even the greatest legal contracts are not water tight. The only real solution is to make the NAP official and make it part of the game. NAP breaking is just one instance. Where have all the flowers gone?

Number 7:

I enjoyed the little damage boost idea implemented this week. It added a nice dimension and it was great seeing 500K berserks! Mind you though, it was quite frustrating for those who had used their vacation and spa the day earlier and were stuck on 0 gifts and 0 food, including yours truly. Maybe a quick small bit of notice might have been useful via the admin newspaper.

Number 6:

Lately there has been a few high caliber players leaving the game. Sure, real life issues get in the way, but for me, a few heroes of mine have left lately such as the character formerly known as Speedy aka You say fyrom i say FUCK YOU , Yolanete , and the soon to be departed (wrong citizen name!). Look, no doubt quite a few of the recent additions to the game have been included to help reignite the spark for players, which indeed I think it has, but hey, sad to see them go.

Number 5:

Double referrals? Yeah, I think that this in theory is a great idea, but in practice, well, the result is that it just created a ton of multi's. Look, no doubt there are going to be the players that run scripts, use proxies, but its funny to see how many of these 'new' members will stop at level 7 and re-emerge at a later date. Some people made a lot of gold out of this.

Number 4:

I'm not too sure when this started happening, and maybe it is a school yard rule, but when the heck did highlighting a cheat in the game warrant the person that mentioned it a severe ban. Look, no doubt the GO's and the SGO's have their reasons, but seriously, this doesn't add up. Here is a hypothetical:

Citizen 1 creates multi's, steals from the national org.
Citizen 2 gathers evidence and snitches on Citizen 1

The punishments are:
a) A slap on the wrist
b) an extensive mute

Guess which citizen gets which? This just ain't cricket.

Number 3:

XenosGV officially resigned as a staff member. For me personally, this is a huge blow. As you are no doubt well aware, I have had quite a few unfortunate encounters with various past and present staff members and in my humble opinion, Xenos was truly a voice of reason. He was compassionate and understanding when you just explained things to him, and he was harsh on people who cheat. Perhaps all the staff members should take a leaf out of his book! Farewell Xenos, you will be missed.

Number 2:

Fix the Stone/Hospital/Wood problem. I'm not sure how long this has been going on for (well, since Day 1 in primera 705 days ago), but the inequality is really becoming severe on this server. Especially with damage bonus days.

AND THE NUMBER 1 SAD MOMENT IS?

Automatically reinstate the strength that people are missing. Enough said!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.

Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
