Yeah, that doesn't seem like something that a potential congressman should say to greet his fellow ecitizens, but that's how I am... different. I'm not gonna sit here and blow a load of smoke in your face, hiding what i have to say behind empty promises and innuendo's. I'm going to tell it to you straight, this time, and every time.
First let's start out with why i want to run for congress. It's simple really; to make the changes that are needed to really bolster our country. So let's touch on a few points that I intend to focus on if i get elected.
Taxes;
Even God only demands a 10th of what a person earns. Why does the government demand a fifth? Our taxes stands at 20% right now, so for every 5 USD you make, Uncle Sam is taking 1 USD. That starts to add up after a little while. Sure, the government needs funds to spend on Strikes, bolstering the Dollar on the world market, etc. Our Citizens have begun to react to this, by accepting pay through donation rather then a full pay when they work. They're joining companies that only "Pay" them 1 USD, giving the government 20 cents of that, and then donating the rest of their pay, so the government doesn't see any of it. This should be a clue to the government that the taxes is too high and that something needs to be done about it, and if elected, i will do all that i can to SEE that something is done about it.
Import Taxes;
This has been a hot topic for a long time now. Our import taxes stands at 1% currently. Yes, I will admit, this keeps the prices on a lot of our goods low, but it's also bolstering the economy of other countries, because that means they are keeping more of their profits. This is a great benefit to them, but only a moderate benefit to us. More and more citizens are building business' in other countries because it's cheaper to import the goods then it is to build the business' in our own borders. We're missing a golden opportunity for more income for our government, and taking less from our OWN citizens. So flat out, YES, i will push for an increase of import taxes.
Strikes;
The Strikes program is a great way to allow the eUSA to project force, and i fully support it, and will do so if I'm elected. It allows players to get free supplies to really take the fight to our enemies and the enemies of our allies. Wars are PREVENTED by the ability to project force, more then the actual force itself. If we show ourselves as a power on the battlefield, other countries are less likely to bother us. And for those that do, are MORE likely to find a way to gain peace, and to do so under terms that FAVOR us. We need more people active in strikes, both as operators (the folks that pass out those supplies) and as USERS. The more people we have participating in this project on both ends of the spectrum, the more force we can project!
Activity;
It's been brought up by more then a few people, including members of congress, that there needs to be more activity IN congress. Everyone knows the active ones. Gbot, Ameshanu, etc. These are the chaps who are always posting shouts, always writing articles about what the congress is doing, etc. But what about the rest. There's a lot of folks who don't actually DO anything, they're just kinda..... there. That needs to stop. We're the eUSA, so our ENTIRE government should be active, from the assistants to POTUS. I WILL be active. You WILL see me, and I WILL listen to you. You have an idea? Fine, bring it to me, and I'll bring it up to the rest of the congress. Complaint you say? Of course I'll bring it to the attention of the rest of the government. We're here to SERVE you, the people, and that's what i intend to do.
If elected, I will do all in my power to see these things through. To act on each and every one of these points, and more besides. I will listen to those that come to me. I won't shoot you down, i won't put you off, or dodge. I will listen, and I will act. Because that's what we need right now, action.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
