Joke

It started as a joke. In those days, there were two main alliances - dominating SUP and weaker OGD. Many people got bored because of this situation and they awaited a change. But the change, which should have come was really impressive. OwenHargreaves published an article where he announced the creation of an alliance mostly composed of strongest countries of SUP and OGD. A lot of people believed, that this alliance is real, so Owen and his teammates from military unit Blitzkrieg, who helped him, must have had great fun (original members of MU Blitzkrieg went later to another military units and this is Blitzkrieg now )



About two weeks later, this alliance was found and surprisingly it contained almost same members. This alliance had been dominating the world for few months, but this is not a part of our story

Estabilishment

The real Delta was created 10 days later . Three countries formed this alliance - Norway, Sweden and Finland. OwenHargreaves became the first supreme commander of Delta , his deputy was TheJuliusCaesar . There were three military commanders too - aaliz (president of Finland in february), Ophion (President of Norway in february) and yerm . Obviously, ouzobat was designated as a press director. The only free country was Denmark, so the primary aim was to liberate Norwegian and Finnish regions.

Nordic Resistance

After the creation of Delta, Norwegian high iron region Vestlandet was liberated . Then Trondenlag was liberated , and Norway attacked Swedish capital, but unsuccessfully. Then Ophion was impeached , kamalccna became president and Norway started to lose their core regions.

After several unsuccessful RW in finnish regions, Oulu, high diamond region, was liberated . Afterwards, Delta managed to free another finnish regions in RW

There were also a battle of swedish core region Smaland Scania where Denmark didn't succeed in conquering this region. Few weeks later, Denmark fought several battles against Germany and Netherlands. Most of theme were won by Denmark, but Netherlands managed to win some battles, for example this one.

Empire, Norway

A week after the formation of the Empire (something like as a cooperation back among Slovakia, Slovenia and Austria, you can read more about it here ), Empire was accepted as a member of Delta. Coutries of Delta helped Slovakia to regain its core regions, then defend them against Hungary, helped Austria to conquer Hungarian high grain region etc. A new military commander was added to HQ - cofi and emperor jackist became Internal Advisor. Unfortunately, jackist left the game and the Empire fell apart. It led Delta HQ to make a decision to treat countries of the Empire as individual, so they weren't recognized as a part of Delta, but they kept good relationship with countries of Delta.

Because of impeachment of Ophion and departure of players, who cooperated with Delta, Norway was excluded from this alliance, so only Denmark and Sweden remained there.

During the last days of February, Sweden was added to Delta and King Konkey became military commander.

VVV&Federation attack

These two alliances tried to wipe Delta out. Poland and United Kingdom declared war to Sweden, Lithuania declared war to Finland and then Sweden declared war to Lithuania. Poland managed to win the battle of smaland scania and United Kingdom conquered Sorlandet. Sweden lost drain battle of Northwestern Russia and didn't manage to Ostlandet , which was conquered by United Kingdom. Poland conquered Gotaland and United Kingdom conquered Vestlandet. Rest of Sweden was captured by Poland and Norway managed to free some of their regions. Finland was completly occupied by Lithuania.

After that, Sweden managed to liberate their regions and even attack Norway again. During this war, ouzobat wrote an article about Delta's stance on alliances. Finland was exluded from Delta, you can read reasons here .

Silesia

One of the most impressive battles was fought, when Denmark attacked polish High Iron region - Silesia. yerm proposed a declaration of war , but Denmark managed to gather only eight votes, while Poland, whose president propose this law too, has nine votes. However, few Danish congressmen left congress, so Danish declaration was accepted, while Polish failed. Delta managed to win first and second , but they lost all following rounds. After the battle, ouzobat wrote an article where he critisized countries of WCIP and Federation.
