“汉服”一词的记载最早见于《马王堆三号墓遣册》： 简四四“美人四人，其二人楚服，二人汉服”，用来描述4件“雕衣俑”的服饰。【三号墓墓主利苍之子下葬年代是西汉文帝前元十二年(西元前168年)】
又见《汉书》：“后数来朝贺，乐汉衣服制度。”这里的“汉” 是指汉朝的服装礼仪制度，即《周礼》《仪礼》《礼记》里的冠服体系，因为汉朝的礼仪制度由汉高祖的太常叔孙通依据夏商周三代礼仪制度所制定。]汉服“始于黄帝，备于尧舜”，源自黄帝制冕服。定型于周朝，并通过汉朝依据四书五经形成完备的冠服体系，成为儒家神道设教的一部分。“乗殷之辂，服周之冕”是儒家治国思想的要义。因此后来各个华夏朝代均宗周法汉以继承汉衣冠为国家大事，[6]于是有了二十四史中的舆服志。汉人对汉衣冠的认同也成为了民族意识的一部分。
五胡乱华之时，原先在中原地区的知识分子及各阶层人民纷纷逃亡到南方，保留了中原文明的火种，而逐渐把江南开发成繁华富庶之地，这一事件史称“衣冠南渡”。宋朝郭靖不愿弃汉衣冠而自杀。到了宋元明时期，异族明确地用“汉服”来指称汉人衣冠，如“辽国自太宗入晋之后，皇帝与南班汉官用汉服；太后与北班契丹臣僚用国服，其汉服即五代、晋之遗制也”。金国熙宗甚至“循汉俗，服汉衣冠，尽忘本国言语”。满清以此为鉴，实行“剃发易服”，对服汉衣冠、束发者治重罪。汉服遂亡。
汉朝是中国最重要和杰出的王朝之一，也是中国历代王朝以中央集权的国家概念最早、最完备、最先进、最强大的王朝，汉人的称谓由此而来。在这一时期随着社会的进步，汉域本土民族文化蓬勃发展，达到了极高的艺术和审美成就。在经济，科技，文化上全面领先于世界的汉帝国为华夏儿女留下了永远的自豪。今天，占据绝大多数的中国主体民族汉族就是以汉朝的名字命名的。
客观上的汉族人的某些过渡历史阶段的穿着服饰例如汉化旗装、旗袍、马褂等绝对不可以被称作“汉服”，因为它们与真正的汉服没有正常的演变衔接过程。汉服本身虽然清朝剃发易服等统治政策下消失了，但因为具有强大的生命力，其部分元素一直没有灭绝，直到现代汉族人信仰的道教、佛教以及一些边远山民，还有国内许多少数民族都还保持着汉服的特征，现代社会的一些重要祭祀、纪念活动、民俗节日等仍能看到汉服的部分元素。21世纪以来，汉服运动尊崇古代汉族人一脉相承的服饰特征，传承汉服数千年文化基因，并在古代考据汉服的基础上，取其精华去其糟粕，复原了汉族传统服饰。汉服的影响十分深远，亚洲各国的部分民族如日本、朝鲜、越南、蒙古、不丹等等服饰均具有或借鉴汉服特征。

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
