1.印尼屠杀华人纪录片入围奥斯卡 当年至少30万人丧生
有关印尼前总统、军事强人苏哈托时代屠杀大批华人的一部纪录片入围第86届奥斯卡金像奖。
这部名为《我是杀人魔王》的纪录片深入探讨了大批华人遭杀害的印尼“930事件”，
再度引发对印尼这段黑暗历史的反思。
“930”事件发生于1965年的印尼军事政变，时任陆军战略后备部队司令的苏哈托，
在全国策动反共大清洗，大批共产党员被杀，许多华人被当作共产党员处决。
学界分析，“930”事件死亡人数约50万人，至少有30万华人在“930”事件丧生。
2. NASA送蚂蚁上太空
美国国家航空航天局将800只普通的蚂蚁送往太空，
以学习它们在低重力下如何行动，这将有助于科学家制造更好相互协作的机器人。
蚂蚁根据内在的规则行动，通过触角和嗅觉来判断周边蚂蚁有多少。
通过相互协作，蚂蚁在一定区域内寻找食物和供应，

3.加州法院裁定博客和传统媒体一样受宪法第一修正案保护制约
近日Gertz和Robert Welch有限公司之间诉讼案件（编号418 U.S.323,350）
后加州地方法院裁定在今后的案件诉讼审理中不再仅仅局限于传统的机构媒体，
认定博客也同受到宪法第一修正案的保护和制约。
这起案件唯一围绕的争议在于宪法第一修正案中的“私人诽谤行为的过失标准”，
Gertz通过博客媒介向公众散播不利于Welch公司的负面新闻，在社会上造成了不良影响。
法院称尽管在宪法第一修正案中并未有明确的描述，
但是经过陪审团一致裁定后Gertz依然以诽谤罪进行判刑，
通过这项裁定意味着宪法第一修正案的适用范围将会更加广泛，
美国公民和新闻尤其是现今高速发展的网络提供了执法依据。
4.普京警告参加冬奥会同性恋:不准靠近孩子
普京发表谈话说，他欢迎同性恋人士参加索契冬季奥运会，
但是不准打扰儿童，不要进行“同性恋宣传”。
普京告诉奥运会志愿者，根据俄罗斯儿童保护法的一项修正案，
同性恋不能向18岁以下少年儿童宣扬同性恋权利。
但批评人士指出，这项法律的用词不够严谨，
可以任由当局加以解释，事实上是对同性恋者的歧视。

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
