Welcome to The Polish Observer !

Today mine and yours guest is chrzaszczyrzewoszyczanin , the President of Switzerland.

Observer: How a Pole became a president of Switzerland?

Chrzaszczy: If you're asking about the current term, after the last CP was impeached, we had to elect someone from Congress and I was the lesser evil On more serious note, way before I registered here, Poles were always involved with Switzerland (her native citizens hardly ever register here, sadly), so even now when our "PL" numbers in Switzerland decreased, we still have significant influence on matters here. However I must stress, that we don't really care about national affiliations, rather about what individual people are made of. We have here i.a. Spaniards, Bosnians and French.
I'd also like to think that another reason for my election is me being hard-working and trustworthy, and that's why I'm the CP for the second time now

O: How do your foreign friends deal with your nickname? It's a 24-characters word in Polish what makes problem even to me. Somebody asked you for changing it?

Ch:Except for IRC, where my nickname was taking too much space for people using Mibbit, I was never asked to change it, but usually people's first comment about it looks more or less like THIS .
Due to Quakenet's character limit I shortened it to "chrzaszczy", which has become even more popular after THIS pic, which now serves me as a presentation for elections Nonetheless CSaxx (aka CSax ) is too lazy even for that, and often calls me "chraz" or "chrazi" ;]
People were constantly asking me if this is a random string of letters, how it's prononounced or if it's problematic to remember it, so eventually I saved a txt file explaining the origin to have it ready for them Some of them have even decided to watch the movie.
Also sometimes funny things happen in-game, so I have more occasions to report graphic bugs than average user

O: Why players like you or your friends prefer being Swiss citizens and working for foreign country?

Ch:There may be a lot of different reasons. I can't talk for everyone, but what I personally like the most is close-knit community and higher influence on things than it would be in major countries like Poland.
We're now building a well-disciplined, PTO-proof, T2-clutching , self-sufficient state, which not only is able to secure its own independence, but can also party abroad and help our allies significantly, which we in Trololo MU always do to the best of our ability.
If you want to help us, feel invited. Switzerland is pro-Trinity and we can always do with more allies on battlefield. Happy BH hunting

O: What is the prescription for healing an economy?

Ch: I'm not really a specialist in this field, I usually leave it to more experienced guys (actually some of most experienced here on Secura), so don't take everything I say for granted. Also my prescription for Switzerland might not be worth anything for bigger countries or even comparable ones but fighting for independence .
A lot of RL economic rules may not apply to this game, but I think some axioms always will, and these are:
-the government cannot tax people heavily.
-if we want to fix our Product (and also Monetary) Market, we have to set low import taxes.
As you can see it works more than fine for USA, for both sides of economic spectrum. Both sides, because we can never forget that the economy consists of customers, too. This is for all people talking about "defending the poor company owners" which often means defending their own business.
Our taxes are real low, we have now battles on a regular basis, so on this occasion I'd like to invite all workers, investors and sellers to Switzerland. See for yourself that it really pays off!

O: Can we - in your opinion - call Switzerland the Promised Land for players who like to make big money?
Ch:
Switzerland definitely is a Land of Opportunity and s e v e r a l companies opened here during the last few days bring nice profits to their owners (especially thanks to the war campaign we carry on). Our job and product markets still aren't saturated for sure, so I encourage you to join in, before others get ahead of you CHF needs a little fixing, but it's just a matter of time. Generally speaking everything goes in the right direction, so if you're considering some new investments, our little tax haven is the place to go.

O:What is the foreign policy of Switzerland? Do your neighbours let you to feel self-confident?

Ch: Switzerland isn't part of any alliance, but we're officially pro-Trinity. We also stay in good graces with United Nations. On Saturday we won a DoW race (against Italy) with Croatia, which I think was very nice and a crucial step on a way to Apennine Peninsula's liberation. This obviously might have made Croatia, our temporary neighbor, a little hostile towards us.
Slovaks, who also border us now by Tyrol, were also mentioning casually in their shoutbox and articles (which I can read in their language ) the idea of attacking us, but I believe that eventually they realized, it would be a mistake Plus a number of them knows that I'm a Czechoslovakiaboo, so maybe on account of that, at least some of them feel some sympathy towards my sFatherland, too?
Last but not least Germany, a brand new Illuminati member. I will always appreciate their help back in the day, when together with Swedes (and relatively only slight help from others) they helped us liberate from Greek occupation when I became a CP for the first time in March. Without their aid it would be very difficult, maybe impossible at that time. Personally speaking I wouldn't want to fight against their flag. The sympathy stays, and I'd like to think, that they have their reasons to reciprocate this feeling back
What may be most interesting for you - our foreign policy is in a very good shape and our independence is secured.
RL Switzerland, not a very big country, is known to be in the strict top of the world in weapons possesion per capita, here I can say that even though our population isn't very big, per capita we do veery well already, and it is gonna improve even further. Maybe YOU also could be a part of it!

O: What are your plans for the future? Would you like to continue the politician's career?

Ch: I certainly want to stay active and involved with Switzerland. When it comes to politics after this presidential term, running for Congress each month should do in the near future. I don't plan on running for CP (or any other serious position) again anytime soon, I have to focus more on my personal life.

O: Thank you for your time

That was the interview with the President of Switzerland

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
