Welcome to your first White House Press Release. The WHPR is a series of articles that are written by the Secretary of Media, or the president him/herself. The WHPR will be aimed at telling you about recent events, and you might also learn a few things! I'll get started on the current events in a moment, but first, let me just give you a warm welcome, welcome to secura! We enjoy having you, and hope that you help make USA great. Currently, we have some of the strongest players.
The situation is honestly simple. In Primera, we have had control of their high grain region in the past and we have grown accustomed to it. The norm for us is having an easily accessible high grain region in our country, and we want to stay with the norm. Canada hasn't been showing very much resistance so far and it will probably be better for both countries that we come to an agreement soon. Canada has been very reasonable in the past, in Primera of course, about our deal regarding this region, and hopefully a similar deal will come into effect, because we don't want Canada trying to liberate that region every day.
Remember to fight smart, USA. We are only on day 3, and a lot of you don't know the proper ways to fight. For now, I will take over the education's job a little because well, honestly, you need it. First off, it is always recommended that you get on IRC and get in the #strikes channel. We coordinate our battles there and even give out supplies there to US citizens. If you don't know what IRC is, or how to get on, that will be explained below. Now that you have joined the #strikes channel, wait. Wait until the last 30 minutes of the round and then you can ping an operator of the channel for supplies. Supplies will be given and you will be advised to hold until the time we strike.
Normally, we strike at T-2, which is the common global strike time. T-2 basically means 2:00 minutes remaining in the round. We do this because with coordination we can whip out thousands of damage and deal with how much damage we need to in a short amount of time. So, you will be fighting at T-2. Let's step back a bit. The supplies we give out aren't perfect yet, so you'll have to supply some parts of your fighting package. Your goal is to get Q5 food and Q5 gifts first. Weapons come later, because we want you to get XP, which helps you level up, which brings in more gold. However, gifts and food are expensive! So right now it isn't recommended that you purchase gifts, but food is definently necessary. Final note, do not hit ever unless you have to leave or have been given permission by the coordinators. Otherwise, damage will be wasted.
IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It's basically what us e-simmers use to keep in constant contact with each other, and is the #1 way of contacting officials and other members of the e-sim world. Why should you care? Well, we need more people like the people that frequent our IRC channels. The more coordination we have, the better we are in wars and in battles. So, how do you get in on this IRC? It's quite simple, actually.

1. Go signup at mibbit at http://mibbit.com/signup.html .
2. It will take you directly to chat.
3. In the Connect: box, select the drop down menu and click Rizon
4. Choose your nick, preferably your e-sim name
5. Choose a channel, recommended #secura.usa, our official channel
6. Press connect, and you're in!
The Fastest and Easiest Way
1. Go to rizon.net
2. Click connect
3. Put in your nickname, preferably your e-sim name
4. Set the channel to #secura.usa
5. Press connect!
The difference between mibbit and rizon is that mibbit is better appealing to the eye and more newby friendly, where rizon is just simple.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
