My name is Holy Mortall, and I want to thank all E-USA citizens!
After winning two congress elections here on the Secura Server, I began to get busy and not make as much time for E-sim as I'd have liked to. I ran for my last election in October I believe, and lost. While I was dissapointed I realized it was probably for the better. I didn't have the time to put into e-sim because of the IRL issues I was facing at the time.
After taking these last three months off, I've finally regained some sense of normality, and with that I'd like to state my intentions. I, HolyMortall, am announcing my intentions to run for E-USA Secura Congress once again!
Now that I have time on my hands to devote to E-Sim once again I will be an active member on the message boards as well as just here on Secura and Suna. However I obviously don't expect any of you just to vote for me because you read this, and that is why I want to share with those of you, who I really am.
If you haven't read my Introduction, then you might like to know that; I am HolyMortall. I coincidentally Joined the E-Sim family on day 666 of Secura, and have therefore have made it my overall goal to destroy Everything that hurts the success of E-USA. IRL I'm a gay 18 y/o boy living in the Midwest and am finishing up my last year of high school. I love animals, theater, and music, and I'm hoping to going to college in either Chicago, New Orleans, New York City, or Boston (I've already been accepted to three on the east coast and one in Chicago!!) Now all of those things I just shared with you are trivial, and should gain me very little in the way of respect, but I believe that before you can really feel safe voting for me, you must have a general sense of what kind of things I probably believe IRL.
I am a strong supporter for equality and, unlike some other affluent politicians here, I am just as poor if not poorer than most people here in the e-usa. So when I say equality, I mean equality.
Further more, I believe strongly in the power of diplomacy. I believe that we should be well armed and ready to attack any enemies that stand in the way of American progress, but I also believe that if we can talk our way into, or out of, a situation we should try doing so first.
I believe in high Import taxes, and low income taxes, as a means of keeping Americans wealthy, while also keeping the money in America. As some other politicians have noted to me in one of my previous articles, " A low import tax means foreigners sell on USA market for USD, which enhances the government and other consumer's buying power." which certainly does make sense to me that our economy would, and is currently, flourish with this system, the whole point of politics is to debate over, and try out new ideas.
Lastly, I am a strong supporter in aiding other countries. As I stated earlier, I believe in diplomacy. As such, I strongly support aiding in wars for, and against other countries as a means of building alliances. That being said, I don't believe we need to be allied with the strongest countries in the server, because while it is nice to have strong allies, weak allies are possible high risk investments, whom may end up having massive power later on.
To conclude this article, I've meant no offence to other politicians reading this article, however if you did take offence in any way, shape, or form. I invite you to write it down in the comments below, and proceed to delete it all before shoving a fist in your mouth. I am not sorry for having opinions, because I'm an American, and we are nothing if not opinionated. USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
