Issue 1:

- Introducing Myself
- One in Strength
- What is IRC?
- How to get started (Mibbit)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings to all the citizens of sUSA!

I am God ...

I am here today to help America unite and become a prosperous nation in a world of hungry wolves.

With this in mind, for any country to grow stronger and prosper there must be a tight knit community. Shouts and PMs have it's limitations, and you don't truly get the full experience of the sWorld without relying on other things.

The answer to this problem....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IRC !

Internet Relay Chat, or IRC, is basically a real time chat. Think of it like instant messaging, but more specifically for big groups to discuss/talk.

I know many of you don't want the hassle of downloading and installing programs, so I'll walk you through Mibbit, which is a fairly easy to use IRC client that runs in your browser. Most of the steps I am posting on here can be found in the Mibbit Wiki , but for those who are not tech savvy I have put a more detailed guide.

This guide is long, but only because I took the time to explain each step.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to get started with IRC via Mibbit

Step 1: Create an Account

1a - Go to mibbit.com
1b - Press the "Sign Up Free" button

Step 2: Enter Account Info

2a - Enter your email

IMPORTANT: Please try to stay away from yahoo emails. Their filtering has the tendency to delete the confirmation emails. My best choice would be for you to use a gmail account, or anything non-yahoo.
Don't worry about spam. They only send you 1 email.

2b - Choose a username.

IMPORTANT: This is not the name that others will see when you chat. This is just your account name for your reference. We will get to the 'in-chat' name in a future step.

2c - Choose a password

Hope that's self explanatory lol

2d - Press the "Free Sign Up" button to create your account. You should come to a screen like below.

Press the orange "Chat" button!

Step 3: Creating and Registering your "In-Chat Name"

3a - Once you've pressed the "Chat" button, you should come to a funky looking screen. Look in the top right corner and wait till you see your Account Username there. Once that is done, press the "Account" tab below your Account Username.

In the image below my user name for this account was IamaMibbit23. Once I saw that load up in the top right corner, I pressed the Accounts tab.

3b - Now scroll down to the "My IRC accounts" section. Enter the following information:

Server: rizon.mibbit.org [must be this one]

Nick: This is what appears to other people as you chat. You may choose your own unique nickname, and it doesn't have to be the same as your Account Username. Please note that nicks must start with a letter. The only characters allowed are A-Z (upper/lower), 0-9, and "_" or "-" (underscore or dash)

For example purposes, my nick is AlmostDon3. Remember also that my Account Username in the beginning was IamaMibbit23? See, the two don't have to be the same! Others will only see "AlmostDon3."

Pass: This is your password so no one else will be able to use your nickname. Please note that the password doesn't have to be the same as your Account password. However, on my personal IRC account, I keep the passwords the same so I don't forget.

For example purposes, my nick password was "qwerty", and my account password was something else (no I won't say what it is ).

Auth Method: NickServ [must be this one]

Charset: No clue what that is, but let's leave it alone. The default setting for me was "UTF-8". It may or may not be different for you.

Once this is done press "save changes" and then press "connect now"

The Rizon tab should now load and appear in the top left corner [see image]. Click on it (if it hasn't loaded already for you), and you should come to a screen similar to the image below.

There will be a bunch of text, but at the end it will say in red:

Welcome to Rizon! Please note an official #mibbit help channel exists, /join #mibbit for questions regarding the web chat. Thanks!

Right above that line you should see a line that looks like this:

NickServ Your nick isn't registered

If you do see this, please continue to step 3c. If you do NOT see this, then please read and follow the IMPORTANT notice below.

IMPORTANT:

If you see the messages below, then that means someone else has already registered that username.

NickServ This nickname is registered and protected. If it is your
NickServ nick, type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password. Otherwise,
NickServ please choose a different nick.
NickServ Password incorrect.

What you will have to do is:

- Press the little "x" on the Rizon tab. Press "Yes" to disconnect
- Go to the "Account" tab and repeat step 3b. You can leave all the information the same (including your password), but change your nick to something more unique.
- Press "save changes" and then "connect now".
- If you see the same message again, then you must repeat the process
- Once you get the message "Your nick isn't registered" Please proceed below

3d - To register your nick, please type in the following:

/ns register yourpasswordhere youremail@whatever.com

The password is the SAME as what you put in STEP 3B
The email is the one you used to make an account with (STEP 2A)

For example purposes, my password from step 3B was "qwerty" and my email from step 2A was "mibbitIRCdummyacc0unt@gmail.com" So the line I would have to type in would be:

/ns register qwerty mibbitIRCdummyacc0unt@gmail.com

Please put the spaces accordingly. DO NOT put a space before the "/ns" part.

3e - Now check your email and you should see an email with a line of code like below:

Copy and paste this code into the Rizon chat bar. See image below for my example. DO NO USE MY CODE otherwise you will get an error. Each code will be different for each person. Press the Enter key after you have pasted the code.

Once you have pressed the Enter key (and assuming you've followed all the steps correctly), you should see something like this (Don't worry about the black rectangle, I was hiding my IP lol) :

If you get the prompts
Nickserv Nickname thenickyouchose registered under your account: yourIP
Nickserv Your password is thepasswordyouchose - remember this for later use.

Then you have successfully created and registered your nickname!

Step 4: Joining Channels

For demo purposes, here are the official channels of sIndia and sUSA for the Primera Server :
#s.india
#e-sim.usa

NOTE: Secura US IRC Room is #secura.usa

Now that you have created a nickname for yourself. You now need to find a channel to chat in! There are two methods in joining a channel:

Method 1:

In the Rizon chat bar type in the following:

/j #channel name

Then press the enter key

- Make sure there is no space before the /j part
- This method is easy for joining 1 channel at a time.
- To join more than 1 channel using this method, just go to the chat bar of the channel you are in or go back to the Rizon tab chat bar, and then type in the same code, but with the new channel name.

Method 2:

For those of you who like to be in multiple channels at once (like me), it might be a pain adding each channel one by one. Thankfully, since you have created an account with Mibbit, you can join multiple channels all at once. To do this follow these steps:

Go to the Channels option (near the top right)

Under "My Channels" press "add new entry"

Server will be:

rizon.mibbit.org

For channels, type in the desired channels followed by a comma.

Example: If I wanted to join the sUS and sIndia channel, I would type in:

#sIndia,#e-sim.usa

Check the "Auto Connect" option.

Press "save changes" and then "connect now"

You will now be connected to both channels! You only have to do this once. Now everytime you go to mibbit.com and Login to your account, you will automatically connect to all the channels you have listed. It will only take about 10-15 seconds now!

Now to set you guys off, everyone join the new Secura IRC Channel for the sUSA!
#secura.usa

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.

Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.

Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
