Hey there! My name is Olcon, and as you already guessed, I am the USA's nomination for Secretary General. I am NathanP's go-to man for all things military. I run his strikes, I run his supplies, and I am a forefront member of his executive cabinet. I realize you don't really know me this much, and that's why I'm writing this article.
This morning I was informed told that Whitney Houston trying to bypass the charter rules and push the vote for Secretary General of OGD. Note that yes, this is against the charter - it is illegal to do what Whitney did. I realize this qualifies as smearing, but it's the truth, and needs to be known.
From the Charter:
"PARAGRAPH iii. Each president, or an approved representative thereof, will vote on the 7th of the month for one of the candidates to become Secretary-General for the duration of the month-long term."
Today is the 6th. It's illegal to vote this early.
What this tells me is that Whitney is obsessed with her power. She has already lost Brazil's CP election to d0men97 , and Secretary General is her last grasp on power. Do we really want someone this obsessed leading the alliance? We already know how horrible diplomacy was with her leading us - that fiasco with CSaxx should be proof enough of that. She did do the right thing and clear the early votes, but still - if we hadn't confronted her about this she wouldn't have done anything.
About me: I am a fairly laid-back person, but I also know when you need to stop fooling around and actually get stuff done. I was a major player during the assault on Mecklenburg last month (read: I controlled supplying the battle, getting people food/gifts/weaps/tickets, etc). NathanP, like he said, has basically kept me to himself, hehe. I am a mostly "behind the scenes" person, if you know what I mean, and only a select few people outside of the government know about me.
What would be my goals if I was Secretary General? Well, I'd like to be a little more diplomatic to everybody. I don't want bad relations with neutral countries. OGD doesn't need to be the collective Primera Poland of the world. We don't need enemies, but allies are always appreciated. Having relations with governments that aren't a part of our alliance means we can call in favors if things get dicy and we alone can't get the job done. It also moves them away diplomatically from countries we don't necessarily like. I'd focus on having a freaking awesome diplomatic team made of a variety of players from different countries that would go out there and generally just try to be helpful, waving the OGD banner freakin' everywhere. We could try to help them with their problems if it didn't immediately cause of grief, and generally spread the good word.
Better coordination is always a good thing. I'd like to have better coordination, get more countries involved in the same battles. In the US we have the Department of Defense orders. Those tell the citizens what the important battles are, and where they should drop their damage. Your countries might have an equivalent to this. I think it would be fantastic if we were able to spread this across the alliance: unified orders for every OGD member country. That way all our citizens have the same priorities for battles, and we all focus on the same objective. It would also let us get the people not on IRC involved.
TL;DR I'm awesome and vote for me because yeah and stuff, now actually go up there and read the reasons. ಠ_à²
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
