R: I'm Railman, but to be honest my real is Kacper and my surname is Górski. I am living in a flat in Wroclaw. Outside my window is at the moment 20 Celsius degrees and a bunch of yelling Gypsies.
R: I like to read books. Especially stories except the ones about games of course. My other hobby is also business
R: Michał our developer gave as a document from one of e-sim players and there were a lot of cool ideas in there. I don't remember exacly their content because at first we have to deal at the moment with merge, new servers and lots of other stuff.
Inter alia this player proposed communaction channel which is missing now and it would be possible to state if the party is right-wing, left-wing or center. It is a small improvment but there are many players requests about things simple like that.
R: Last change we made in e-sim was the one proposed by jackist about adding NPC and we agreed. But this changes need to make sense. On averge once a month we get proposition like "make an atomic bomb". Improvments must be logical to be added to game so we don't break up the fun to players because for some it may looks really great but imagine the situation when a player is dealing realy high dmg in last minutes of the round and somebody else is activating an atomic bomb in last few second chaning the whole round result.
R: Generally they were made on the basis that, if the server comes to the state when factories are not paying of, the owners of the factories can hire so called NPC and have a little more fun in economical module. It looks like they will be added in some time of servers rising.
R: Well yeah, probably yeah although we haven't thinking about that topic yet.
R: I don't know, we have to see if opening new servers make sense. If we open a new server and suddenly people don't want to migrate on old server, then it would have little sense so we have to wait and see what oriental players will do in weeks or two, will they "root" themself meanly saying. If they will root on the server then of course, because at the moment looking at statistics how many players stay after registration, second or third day it looks much better than statisticsof players who joined on 3years old server and everone are already giants, titans of work, making 200% of standards, who are Stakhanovites, high rang generals and deal milion times bigger damage. When new players join new server it is unknown yet how the things will form, change so perforce efficiency of this advertising campaign is much much bigger.
R: We haven't t thought about this yet but we would need some concrete reason to do this like for example this servers being depopulated or somthing similar. Because it is not very good idea. Lets think about how we could move players from secura to suna server. We wouldn't be able to move all of their data so they would just lose part of their data. This is why they could be unhappy from the idea of merge like this.
R: I don't know what will work, we are testing a lot of things. We wanted to test what will happend(will the population grow, decline or stay at the same level). A few percent of players stopped playing, a lot of new players joined but we also decided to test option when the server is made and then this server is merged with another old one. We decided that we can make that move.
R: What do they need? Community! As for my taste if you succeed in forming some cool community then fun becomes much more pleasure than just clicking some ordinary statistics.
R: The question in which contains answer itself. So as they say... have you stop beating your wife already?
R:In what way are we controlling them? Anqa did a piece of good work, made a list of routines that every new Game Operator is learning and from which is obeyed. If there are any complainment then they are checked by GOs with higher rank and they are doing something depending on their authorisations. There must be a channel where people can make complainments and there it is checked if disadvantaged players are really disadvantaged. I think that people in staff are better than people at helpline in banks because players in staff have different motivation than money.
R: aaa, Generally here is a problem that Chinesee are using tor system from simple reason. They are generally blocked by some different things like fb plugins and so on. So if they will normaly open e-sim page they won't see anything. So if we start blocking people using any domain like tor then we will block Chinesee for starters. Another thing is that if someone really wants to find some proxy then he will find the one we won't detect anyway.
R: Yes, there is a top secret plan. If someone read shout than he may already imagine what i am talking about. We have also team working to make an experiment. Namely to start new test server with team mini game (agar.io). We want to try something like: there is 100 players from one country and other country and their task is to eat eachother with their balls. Will something like this make sense or not we will find out. If it is a team game then fun from playing it is huge. It's adventage is that it is forming community. It also really promotes cooperation.
R: We resigned from that because it felt short of the expectations. Maybe it was caused by letting wrong people enter it.
R: We had that plans. In all summer would be the best time for doing it. If anyone is in Wroclaw then we are welcome. Boldly write an email or to one of the developers. With some players we met already. Once some anonymous guy sent us a Christmas card.
R: The whole new template? I don't know anything about this. Hmm... Generally it works like this, that i am leading 4 projects. I don't know about many things that developers do. Michał makes tests and if they have a good reasults then he show them to us. Seems like this tests didn't end well.
R: I don't know if players would want something like that because willy-nilly generally i don't care about money anymore. All our profit go in develepment of e-sim. So the questions is, is it about being less money for development of this game?
R: Probably not from a simple reason. Watching work of people hired as volunteers insted hired for money, i can see that as volunteers they work better.
R: Lastly i would like to thank you everyone for coming here and for creating this community this community. Greetings to all players and readers.
About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
