Everybody can get involved into a fight but only a few can join the discussion. After having read through all the shouts that were posted in our country in the past 20 days, I've found an old way to turn a fight into discussion. This renders us able to distinguish those who shout from those who talk; those who attack people and those who, with right questions, struggle to have some facts explained.
A fight is full of personal attacks, it always touches personal spheres and things that hardly provide any ground for constructive discussion. That's why everybody can join a fight. Calling somebody names, refering to things that are not really connected with the core of any issue - that's easy. And that's why I won't be fighting with this article.
Now, a discussion is when we provide each other with facts (here: something that happened, something that we can track, something recorded), talk about them and confront them. And that's why I will be doing in this article.
I am actually going to ask about one issue that is bothering me. I do not care about W1tch_K1ng as a person per se and his characteristics. I see him as a President. Somebody with certain rights, privileges but also duties and expectations.
But first, let me warn you against a popular scheme that changes discussion into a fight, and make you lose it at every possible level. If it happens, the discussion is over.
Scheme:
1. Constructive question: X asks Y why Z happened or not.
2. Fear: Y does not know how to answer; Y feels insecure/offended/unable to provide any arguments.
3. Swap: Y changes the subject, the addressee of question.
4. Attack: Y fires the question back at X.
Be aware that constructive question must refer to facts:
- "What caused that you didn't do that? What caused you to restrain from taking any action?"
- "Why were u ignorant about this lel? u suck"
1. Some American citizens feel ignored in terms of being provided with any information about the country's issues and current geopolitical situation. There are many easy-to-use, accessible ways of spreading information, ie. newspaper articles, shouts, main org's privileged shout. Yet, POTUS has written only 8 shouts for 90 days, with 6 of them appearing around the CP elections day. When challenged about that fact, POTUS states that some American citizens moan about articles, and therefore more information.
What is the reason to completely ignore in-game modules for spreading information, and therefore leaving the citizens who do not participate IRC channels within hours of POTUS accessibility, completely uninformed?
I do believe that it should be a common feature of anybody who runs for President to be active in terms of keeping his citizens up to date with country issues or at least the future plans. Unfortunately, not only has W1tch_K1ng completely restrained from using in-game communication canals, but also choose not to publish any summary or written plans on his terms. Our newly registered citizens or people who chose the States for their motherland are coming to an empty land if they do not wish to sacrifice their time on IRC, where any information is not given directly, but needs to be extracted or asked for.
I would highly appreciate if such intelligent and skilled political figure that W1tch_K1ng is, answered my need for clarification of given situation.
I believe that people who asked for respect and kind words will be highly satisfied with constructive approach to political life in America. This is what you asked for and such is given.
I hope every citizen interested in giving his input in this discussion will restrain from attacks ad hominem, and will refer only to situations and events that contribute for the development of this discourse.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
