ממה שראיתי עד כה, הקהילה כאן חמה ותומכת וזה מאוד משמח
ועכשיו נעבור לעניינו:
מהפכת הדיסקורד
אם תשאלו כל שחקן e-sim ישראלי כיצד הוא מתקשר עם חבריו לקהילה, כמעט תמיד הוא יענה "מיביט" וזה המצב כבר כ-4 שנים, אם לא יותר. במשך כל הזמן הזה, מיביט כמעט ולא השתנתה, כאשר לעומתה התפתחו והשתדרגו להן שאר פלטפורמות התקשורת וביניהן סקייפ, פייסבוק, פורומים שונים ועוד. אני אתמקד הפעם בדיסקורד ואציג את הסיבות שמצדיקות לדעתי מעבר סופי ומלא לשם, הן לטובת הקהילה והן לטובת השחקן הבודד.
ראשית, נתחיל עם היתרון המשמעותי ביותר בעיניי - זמינות. בתור לוחם, אני לא נמצא בבית לעתים קרובות ופלטפורמה כמו מיביט היא בעייתית בשבילי, מהסיבה הפשוטה שיש לי רק פלאפון זמין והשימוש בו עם התוכנה הזו הינו בעייתי ומסורבל. לעומת זאת, בדיסקורד ניתן להשתמש הן במחשב והן בפלאפון בצורה נוחה למדי, הממשק מותאם לשני המערכות, לא שוקל הרבה ובעל עיצוב מתאים ונוח. למעשה, בפלאפון הדיסקורד דומה לווצאפ, ובמחשב הוא מזכיר את הסקייפ.. כך שאנו מקבלים 2 ציפורים במכה אחת. נוסיף לכך את העניין שבמחשב יש שתי אופציות: הראשונה היא להתחבר דרך הדפדפן בצורה הקלאסית, והשנייה היא להוריד את התוכנה למחשב ולקבל התראות חזותיות (כלומר נפתחת חלונית קטנה בצד) כאשר יש הודעות חדשות.
סיבה משמעותית נוספת היא שכדי להתחבר לדיסקורד יש צורך במשתמש, מה שמצמצם את כמות המשתמשים הלא רצויים בפער ובנוסף מקל על עניין ההתחברות. מספיק להתחבר פעם אחת ומאז בכל פעם שנכנס לתוכנה, אנחנו כבר נהיה עם כל הפרטים המזהים שאנו צריכים, עם כל הצ'אטים ועם כל החברים שיש לנו במאגר. זה מאפשר לכל אחד מאיתנו ליצור רשת תקשורת נוחה ויעילה עם מספר רב של אנשים מבלי שנאבד שום פרט או מידע מהשיחות שלנו.
כך, גם יותר קל לנהל את הצ'אט של הסרבר והדבר יקל על המנהלים.
יש שיגידו שהמעבר לדיסקורד יציף אותם בהתראות, דבר שלעתים הוא דווקא לא רצוי ואף מציק; לכן, ישנה האופציה לחסום התראות של צ'אטים/סרברים שונים בהתאם לצורך האישי שלכם, כך שגם פה יש לנו יתרון במעבר.
סיבות נוספות למעבר הן המדיה הנוחה (גיפים, תמונות, יוטיוב), חלוקת המשתמשים לקטגוריות שונות בהתאם לצורך על מנת ליצור סדר וארגון, לכתוב הערות והארות בפרופיל של כל משתמש וכן ליצור הודעות רשמיות אותן כל חבר בקהילה יכול לראות בכל זמן על מנת להתעדכן בדברים החשובים.
בעידן זה של רשתות תקשורת גדולות ומפותחות ניתן למצוא שלל פלטפורמות אפשריות, אך לאור הסיבות הנ"ל אני חושב שמעבר לדיסקורד יהיה המעבר הכי מתאים לקהילה שלנו.

Hello, since I'm a new in this server, first I'll present myself.. my name is Leon (20), I've been played for 1-1.5 years ago in Suna and I live in south of Israel.
From what I saw until now, the community here is warm and supportive and it makes me very happy
And now Let's move on:
The Discord Revolution
If you ask every israeli player on e-sim, how does he communicate with his friends from the community, almost always he'll answer "mibbit" and that's the state for about 4 years, if not more. At all this time, mibbit haven't changed, while other platforms developed and upgraded, such as Facebook, Skype, Forums and more. I'll focus on Discord and I'll show the reason that justify the transition to there, both for the community, and for the single person.
At first, I’ll start with the most significant reason in my eyes - availability. As a warrior, I rarely go home and platforms such as mibbit are problematic for me, for the simple reason that I only have smartphone available and using mibbit on him is problematic and cumbersome. However, Discord can be used both in PC and smartphone easily and conveniently, the interface is adjusted to both systems (PC&SF), doesn’t weight much and has a comfortable design. Actually, in phone Discord looks like Whatsapp, and in PC he reminds Skype.. thus we are getting 2 birds in 1 hit. Add to this the matter that in PC there are 2 options: the first is to connect by browser by the classic way, and the second is to download the software and get visual alerts when we got new messages.
Another significant reason is that a user is required to connect, which reduces the amount of unwanted users by far and also make it easier to connect. Enough to connect once, and then every time we’ll enter the chat, it’ll connect our user automatically, with all identifying information we need, with all chats and all friends we have in the database. it allows to everyone of us to create an useful and comfortable communication network with a large number of users, without losing any detail or information from our conversations.
Thus, it’s also easier to manage the chat of the server, and it’ll make it easier to moderators.
Some will say that the transition to Discord will flood them with alerts, which is sometimes unwanted and even troubling; So. there is an option to block alerts from different chats/servers according to your personal needs, so even here we have advantage by moving to Discord.
More reason to move are the comfort media (Youtube, GIFs, IMGs), spliting users to categories as needed to create order and organization, to write remarks on other users’ profile and to make pinned messages, that every member of the community can see every time.
In these days of big communication networks we can finds a big number of options for platforms, but for those reason I mentioned, I think that the transition to Discord will be the most appropriate to our community.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
