Hey guys, I'm here to explain to you some events over the last couple weeks involving the German-Austrian NAP. (Yes I know it also included Slovakia, Poland and Switzerland, but this isn't important for now.
The NAP was agreed 14 days ago, I was in USA at the time and wasn't really involved, but I had a careful eye on proceedings. Everything was fine initially, Germany took back Baden-Wurttemberg and Brandenburgia as agreed, but then 1-2 days later, Switzerland lost a RW in Alsace Lorraine. It was agreed that Switzerland couldn't attack Baden, and also that Germany couldn't attack Switzerland, but that didn't stop GAME OVER from DoWing France and attacking Alsace Lorraine. Thus cutting Switzerland off from their colonies in Belgium if they were successful, which they were not. Of course this isn't a direct violation of the NAP but I think you'll agree with me that it is definitely breaking the spirit of the NAP by doing this. But since they weren't successful, ally leaders decided to do nothing about it.
When discussing the NAP it was agreed that Germany would not try to take the NPCs in Baden-Wurttemberg. Austria would keep the NPCs however if a third party decided to try to take the NPCs then that was fine. However this was agreed unofficially and didn't end up in the NAP (convenient huh). I should note at this point that the NPCs in Baden-Wurttemberg were controlled 50/50 by Austria and the Czech Republic as we have a deal with them where they get 5 NPCs in Baden-Wurttemberg (our medium diamonds) and we get 5 NPCs in South Bohemia (their medium grain). However within 1/2 days of the NAP being signed, [b]GAME OVER/b] took the NPCs in Baden-Wurttemberg and immediately fired them. This was an obvious ploy so that if we wanted to keep the NPCs in Baden-Wurttemberg we would have to buy German cc off him, which in principle you may not see as a bad thing. However it was discussed beforehand that we could continue paying using Austrian cc unless a third party happened to take the NPCs off us. This was a direct violation of our agreement, although it wasn't included in the NAP, so technically they still hadn't broke the NAP.
But this obviously angered us, and this is when the Czech Republic CP, KyselyCesnek , took the decision to DoW and attack their capital Brandenburgia. They successfully won the region, and kept it without any trouble for a few days I think mainly due to the German CP GAME OVER being temporarily banned so they had no resistance.
I would also like to mention a few other dodgy things happening from Germany's since the NAP started. First of all, this RW was started by SuperOR while he was still a German citizen and in a German MU . Admittedly, it was very shortly afterwards that he changed his CS to Israeli and left the German MU. Also, in the same battle, citizen aurex did 5kk for Germany against Austria. Moreover, in a RW just yesterday, citizen _Che Guevara_ did 4kk damage for Germany against Austria.
Now, I could also go into detail about a conversation me and BcydeR had with GAME OVER about how if by chance we lost a RW in one of our German regions due to foreign fighters, he claimed it would be against the NAP for Austria to declare war on Germany to take our regions back, which is quite frankly one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Unfortunately I don't have the logs of this conversation since I'm a noob, but if you don't believe me, ask GAME OVER, I'm sure he won't deny it.
Now, onto where the NAP was officially broken. After Germany won a RW in Brandenburgia, the Czech Republic swiftly attacked Brandenburgia again. Now as a Guatemalan citizen, I thought I was free to hit where I wanted, after all I haven't actually been Austrian for a good few months now. However, I did make a mistake, as I didn't realise all members of Austrian MUs are included in the NAP. An honest mistake by me. And I hit 2.5kk and 1kk here.
Swiftly after doing this I received PMs informing me that I couldn't do that since I was in an Austrian MU, and they were of course correct. So I swiftly left Black Panthers , the Austrian MU I was in. Now the protocol for doing this is to either repay the damage + 20% or pay gold with a rate of 2g/kk. Although I only did 3.5kk compared to the 9kk that Germans had done against Austria in the past few weeks with no repercussion. However we were not given this option. In a matter of minutes, GAME OVER started a RW in Bavaria and dealt 37kk damage against us.
This, I believe is where the NAP is broken. Although he would have the option to fight for Austria with that damage plus 20%, or pay us back at a rate of 2g/kk. I don't know the procedure for him starting a RW. Either way, whether the NAP is completely broken or Austrian and German governments will come together and sort it out, I don't know, and it isn't up to me. I just wanted to tell you all the full story as Germany have been abusing this NAP for a long time, and now they are trying to say Austria broke it because me, a Guatemalan did 3.5kk damage against them. Sorry for the long article, if you got this far then thanks for reading.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
Take part in numerous events for the E-Sim community.
