As you will understand from the name, this article is to help new player to increase their damage output. Of course I am always willing to answer any questions you have (please do so in Personal Messages or Comments on this article), however this article will focus on Consumables, Military Units and Equipment. There are many more things you can do to increase your damage however these are the most relevant to new players.

Consumables

There are 3 types of consumable: Food, Gifts and Weapons. Food and Gifts replenish your health meaning you can fight more. The amount they increase your health by depends on their Quality. Q1 food and gifts will increase your health by 10 hp, Q5 food and gifts will increase your health by 50 hp. You can consume up to 10 food and 10 gifts per day. When day changes (11pm UK time) your food and gift "limits" will be restored and you can use another 10 of each. Weapons do not affect your health; they just increase the amount of damage you do. For example, hitting without any weapons means you hit with -50% damage, a Q1 weapons increases this to +20% damage and a Q5 increases to +100%. All of these can be purchased on the product market or can be earned by working in the British Army commune system explained later on in the article.

Military Units

There are currently three Military Units in the United Kingdom at the moment: the British Army, the Territorial Army and Tides of Fire. We will ignore ToF in this article as it is aimed at experienced players and is not run by the UK Government however this is the link to their page: http://secura.e-sim.org/militaryUnit.html?id=44 .

British Army - This is a Government-run Military Unit. It is "Elite" level, meaning your damage is increased by 20% when you're a member and you fight on their orders. There is commune system in place. You must work in BA companies for almost no money but instead you're paid in supplies. You get 10Q5 food and 50Q1 weapons per day. This is worth far more than you would earn in any job. With these supplies you could increase your damage by 1000%. I see new players hitting 5000 damage a day who could hit 150,000 per day with these supplies. I would recommend joining. Link: http://secura.e-sim.org/militaryUnit.html?id=71 .

Territorial Army - This is also a Government-run Military Unit. It is "Veteran" level, meaning your damage is increased by only 15% when you're a member and fight on orders. However the main difference between this and the BA (British Army) is that there is no commune system in this MU. You can work where you like. You do not have to work for free to get supplies as you do with the BA. This MU is purely to increase your damage by 15% and to show you which battles we need damage in. Link: http://secura.e-sim.org/militaryUnit.html?id=130 .

Both of the above Military Units are free to join. They will also both give you information, on the "Orders" section of their pages, on where to move to to get a 20% locations bonus in battles.

Equipments

Equipments can be quite confusing at first so I'll try to keep it as simple as possible. There are five different slots in which you have equipments: Personal Armors, Helmets, Weapon Upgrades, Offhands and Visions. WU (Weapon Upgrades), O (Offhands) and V (Visions) can be earned by doing damage in battles. They are distributed at the end of the battle semi-randomly. They can also be purchased from other players in contracts or on the auction market (found under Market<Auctions). PA (Personal Armors) are earned by inviting other players to the game (You must send them your reflink, found under My Places<Invite Friends). You also can purchase them from other players in the previously mentioned ways. H (Helmets) can only be purchased from other players or they can be bought in auctions from (wrong citizen name!) who randomly generates a certain amount each day. PA's are the most expensive as they are the hardest to get. H's are the second most expensive as they are not given out at battles. WU's, V's, and O's are the least expensive as you can get them just from fighting and are therefore very common. If this has all confused you please have a look at My Places<Equipment and hopefully this will help you to visualize everything I've said.

Quality Levels - As with everything in E-Sim there are different quality levels for Equipments. They go from Q1-Q6. Q1's are red, Q2's are orange, Q3's are yellow, Q4's are green, Q5's are purple and Q6's are light blue. Q6's are the strongest and most expensive. If you click onto my profile you will see I have only managed to gather up to Q4 as above that they are too expensive for me. Hopefully in the future . Anyway as you're a new player you will be trying to get some Q1's, Q2's and, if you can manage, maybe even a Q3.

Best, and Worst, Effects - There are 7 effects of equipments: Reduced Miss Chance, Increased Critical Chance, Increased Maximum Damage, Increased Damage, Increased Chance to Avoid Damage, Increased Strength and Increased Hit. I will say this once. Stay away from Increased Hit and Increased Strength! They are essentially useless and do not help you at all. As a new player your first priority should be to get your miss chance down to 0%. The other four effects are really all as good as eachother. Later on in game you should choose one or two of these and focus on them but its not important right now.

Merging - You can merge three lower quality equipments for one higher level equipment. Examples: 3Q1 to 1Q2 (costs 0.3 Gold), 3Q2 to 1Q3 (costs 1 Gold), 3Q3 to 1Q4 (costs 3 Gold), 3Q4 to 1Q5 (costs 9 Gold) and 3Q5 to 1Q6 (costs 27 Gold). There is only one thing that affects what will come out of the merge; the type of lower level equipments you used. Example if you used 3Q1 Helmets you'll definitely get a Q2 helmet. However if you used 1Q1 helmet, 1Q1 Armor and 1Q1 vision you've got a one in three chance of getting a Q2 version of any of the above. However no matter what effects you merge with, the ones that you will get after the merge will be random so be wary of that. You can get a absolutely useless Q5 by merging it. If you so merge a useless item (increase hit/increase strength) you can merge again with it to an even higher level or you can "split" it. This where you take a higher level equipment and create 2 items that is one level below the original. Example you take a useless Q2 and "split" it into 2Q1's.

Well that's all I have to write about, if you have any more specific questions please PM or comment.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
