Hello citizens of the esim world,
Yet another suggestion today

Today suggestion is on how to improve the lackluster system of coalitions. Coalitions or as the players call them: "Alliances" were part of the game since the very start, however they are always being formed and maintained outside of the game. And to be honest in the correct way of the Coalitions you gain absolutely no benefits from forming one ingame, and all you get is a huge headache.

My suggestions are:

Step one: FOLLOW YOUR PLAYER BASE!!!
You do not have to invent the wheel, just make the game more enjoyable. There are already groups of countries working together and it is called alliance by everyone in all the servers, why cause confusion and name it coalitions, there is zero reason behind it, and to cause less confusion and make this system a bit more practical, simply change the name to "Alliances"

Step Two: Alliances come, and alliances go, it is part of the game, nothing last forever. The way the system work now it is a huge headache to create "Coalition" and to maintain it, especially when it can all go to waste if the countries go on diffrent paths. Not to mentions it is extremly expensive as according to wiki it cost: 100 Gold
to create one, and 50 Gold
to join one. I think that alliances should work like MUs, an intial price for opening one (Cheaper than 100.. prehaps 50) and pay more to expand it farther.
For example: When you open coalition you get 5 spots, and if you want to add more countries after the first 5 you will have to pay 25 Gold
for a spot.

Step Three: The players want to be part of alliance, you want people to be part of alliance, it is part of the game, but unless you do not give any advantage to be part of alliance in game, it will remain outside of the game, on chatting programs. There is no way people will pay 100+ Gold
for something they can do for free, so to encourage them to open up alliance ingame, simply give them some incentives, the most logic one is to give them discount on mpp laws between all the countries in the alliance. Something as simple as 10-25% (1-2.5Gold
) discount will do the trick because in the end of the day it will save the countries money, and will even encourage them to stick together longer, but not enough that countries will try to avoid major uproars for economic reasons.

Step Four: Make it practical, allow countries to behave like an alliance!
Most of the decisions in alliances are taking place behind the scence, allow the country leaders to have that inside the game, I will suggest a private wall (Like shouts) that can not be seen by anyone outside of the alliance top members (Country leaders, and military commanders) to let other people know about stuff inside the game.
Give them the ability to send a brodcast message to all alliance top members (Same as in MU) to set meetings easier.
Give the ability to do decision making inside the alliance: Allow every top member to do "Empty Laws" where he can ask questions, and all the other members will get notification and will be able to answer it (Yes or No.. or prehaps even add the ability to make custom answers unless it is too hard). Everything will be unseen by the public population and will be kept in secret.

Step Five: Make it user friendly!
Allow people to see clearly if thier country is in an alliance or not, add another tab for alliance battles to show people where they should hit. Make additional statistics for alliances ingame, for stats like citizens, total damage and such, but also in battles to show not only damage done by countries, but also sort it by alliance.
Make it easier and clear on how to add new countries into alliance, and how to set top members inside alliance (Not always they are citizens of country inside the alliance but prehaps the alliance leadership will want them).
Add more information about it in the wiki: http://esim.wikia.com/wiki/Coalition this page is lacking in a lot of information!
And simply hot fix all the bugs in the system as it is now.

Let me know what you think in the comments below,
And if you have more ideas, I will be pleased to hear them.
And as always V+S will always help.

Regards,
ravivkk

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
