Thank you to those who sent suggestions in for the top 10.

HERE ARE THE TOP 10 NEWS EVENTS FROM THIS WEEK

Number 10:

Equipment drops! Ah the joys of hitting in one round and take all the spoils. If only it were me, I wouldn't be complaining, but we are seeing more and more certain trends that in battles that gain multiple Q5 equipment the same player seems to win a handful, and/or, it seems that the dudes that don't need it win everything. Jealous....yep!

For example, feast your eyes on this battle drops where the Top 2 players in the world get all the spoils.

E-sim is truly a game based on reality. The rich get richer, the poor.....well.....

Number 9:

Hungary/Poland NAP - This NAP was crucial for the Hungarians as they get a break on the northern border from Poland. This week Hungary freed themselves. This is HUGE for Hungary. Historically, some of the biggest action in esim happens in this region, and for this damage to be erased they can set their sights in other directions, and now they have set their eyes immediately on Romania (what I like to consider as VVV's ugly step sister - why, just look at the productivity breakdown of what each VVV nation has allocated to them). This is going to be interesting to see what happens

Number 8:

The Asian battle continues between Malaysia/China/Iran. This has been abit of a topsy turvy battle with them exchanging Chinese regions. All you have to do is check out the Military action to see what a volatile area this really is. Currently Malaysia seems to be winning this hard fought after contest, but you get the felling that if Iran steps up to the plate with some big hitters, it could be a different story.

Number 7:

Candidature for party leader is underway. I always see this as an extremely pivotal moment in e-sim. Why? Party leaders are crucial to determining who final congress applicants will be. There is always a power struggle in these days of the month, alot of organization, to make sure that certain parties get PTOed, to avoid future impeachment. Go check out your parties applicants. Is it a sign of a future PTO?

Number 6:

Everyone knows my history with South Korea. It went from a 'hate' to a 'mmmm' to a 'well done' to a 'damn, they kinda rock' to a 'they pretty much are the best nation in esim (after Denmark of course)' but lately there has been some troubling signs for the South Koreans. In secura South Korea has been the most active nation for a very long time, but this week showed a different story as their Shoutbox contributions when down to an all time low. You used to see their shoutbox full of messages on a daily basis, this week they only averaged 1 or 2 per day. No doubt alot of activity occurs on IRC, but we all know that as soon as things start to get too cozy, well....you sit on the couch, eat and get fat!

Number 5:

WCIP is going to start making headlines soon. Despite a lot of their countries being under occupation by VVV a question that arises is that they can hold their own. This recent article highlighted that WCIP is quite similar to VVV...or are they? Well the graphs look the same, but in reality they are not! When broken down, VVV still dominates WCIP in every category by double, but hey, we can always dream.

Looks close right?.........wrong! Look again at the numbers.........

Number 4:

Finally the CW module has been used in the way that it was intended, as a group of renegade players took over the government in Canada. There seems to be a split decision in regards to this action, as many players from Canada are fleeing to other countries. By looking at their shoutbox it seems that a group of ex-Polish players have taken over. This might spell the end for Canada as we know it. That being said, who knows, the new players might just get that 'moose' feeling and become true Canucks!

Number 3:

As an avid e-simer, I try to be around to watch the end of important battles. It is thrilling to see the spectators, start hitting, and then (hopefully) come out victorious with a clutch win! But what happens then....Server Overload. This week there has been abit of an issue with server overloads, and all you need to do is click the latest articles to see that quite a few people have written articles about it. I know that in primera maintenance took place to upgrade to a new server, so hopefully this is soon in store for secura. Jox perhaps made the funniest comment saying "jackist quit = 50% revenue gone, come back to us jackist!"

Look, I'm usually a big fan of the admin, but I think that we can admit that this is getting a little out of hand. By the way, while writing this article I got this:

Number 2:

The biggest war area this week has been Scandinavia, as VVV and Federation have decided to gangbang Delta. Despite Delta only consisting of 3 nations these nations are not going down without a fight. On Day 199 Sweden registered their highest daily damage total and came 2nd in the world in daily damage, while Denmark and Finland came close to their highest damage totals. This is going to be a fun war. Completely lopsided....yes? But with the organization of Delta it could be great. Early battles so far have shown that this will be a corker, especially due to the fact that the Victis MU's had to use over 150 million damage in a single battle.

AND THE NUMBER 1 MOMENT FOR THIS WEEK IS?

Although this happened last week, it would be a tragedy not to highlight this great achievement. XenosGV won the race to get all possible achievements. He currently is sitting on 75 of 76 (the 76th one is not yet possible). Rumour has it that more achievements will soon be added so XenosOTK will have to embark on completing them aswell. In my opinion, completing all of the achievements is the ultimate goal, and XenosOTK did it in less than 200 days!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.

Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
