Hello & Good Evening,
I have always wondered, with an alliance as large as V3 with both the proven and potential damage at their disposal -- how do all the aligned nations keep from crossing the line of loyalty? What is it that stops some of the best and most well organized nations in the world from stepping out from the shadows of Poland or Lithuania and taking the glory for themselves? Is there some sort of financial potential that nobody is seeing to keep everyone in line? I sure hope so, because the answers to those questions aren't promising for a few V3 nations.
Could this really be... the "perfect" alliance?
Thus was born,
THIS study amongst V3 aligned nations.
NOTICE
Before we get to digesting and analyzing the data above, it must be mentioned that the numbers for population in certain regions can obviously fluctuate at any time. This could pose a problem for the study, however it isn't probable that the ratios and percentages of people deviates too much. Everyone knows Lithuania occupies some of the richest and most popular regions in the world -- that isn't going to change. Thus, don't spend too much time looking at the raw population numbers, but more as how they relate to others in the study.
High Region Division
Starting with the division of high regions compared to percentage of total V3 damage done to date, one has to wonder why Greece does so much for so little in return. Greece controls the same number of high regions as Brazil, who contributes one-third of the damage.
Meanwhile, Indonesia holds three high regions and the second most regions in general for a v3 aligned nation all the while doing less damage than Greece, Romania, and just slightly more than South Korea. The resources and earning potential handed out by the powers that be seem to be misguided.
And then you have Lithuania, the jewel in the crown that is V3 soaking up all the glory. It seems to be in the best interest of the alliance to take from the middle tiered nations whose presence would be missed in favor of paying off Lithuania's damage volume and artificially pumping up the low tiered nations to keep them wrapped in the palm of domination.
Damage Output Versus Earning Potential
As I opened the article with, population is going to always be changing. Whether citizens are looking for RW bonus locations, wanting to change markets, or looking to set up or run a business. The thought here is simple. The more citizens a particular nation has traveling to their regions, the more earning potential that that particular nation has because of the potential number of people in those markets.
Poland, naturally, has the richest and most popular region in the word of its own in Silesia. To make up for this on the global scale with their allies, Poland is content in taking a smaller (but still undoubtedly large) chunk of the V3 spoils pie as they give up a lot of their potential earning power in dominated regions to Lithuania.
With twice as many conquered regions as any other V3 alignment and 5x the traffic as any non-Polish ally, Lithuania once again comes out on top. But why? Greece is directly behind them in total damage, does only a few million less per day on average, and is one of the strongest nations in regards to damage per capita. Once more, Poland is bribing Lithuania's damage and peace with the second most popular region in the game and a large majority of the conquered V3 regions while abusing the trust and loyalty of Greece.
Elsewhere, in V3, it becomes painfully obvious that Lithuania continues to oppress not only a majority of the world, but a majority of their own alliance. While outputting 18% of the damage, they control 50% of the total traffic. For this to be possible every other nation, including Poland, must make a sacrifice to ensure Lithuania's happiness.
South Korea, the best nation in the world as far as damage per capita according to
this article on Alliance Damage by
ouzobat , is allowed by their alliance to hold 3.5% of the traffic on this day as opposed to their damage output which dictates they should be getting double that. Greece shares a familiar fate as they hold roughly half of the traffic as they should according to their damage output as a nation.
The Art of Giving
Perhaps my favorite piece of data is the column recording how much each nation (in damage) is paying to get 1 unit of traffic in a conquered region.
It's a no-brainer that the Romanians
don't value their damage very highly as they are content with owning no new regions, thus no new traffic, and thus no new earning potential even though they contribute nearly 10% of V3's overall damage. That ladies and gentlemen, is what you call a team player. Israel would also fall into this column, but their total damage is fairly negligible and best served as an outlier.
Meanwhile, we have two familiar faces in the
"getting screwed but enjoying it column" as far as South Korea and Greece are concerned. Both nations are required to work the hardest, damage-wise, to produce a single unit of traffic in their conquered regions.
Poland has to dish out three times as much damage as Lithuania per unit of traffic (which again isn't a huge surprise regarding the popularity and quality of their rightfully owned territories). While Greece and South Korea must produce five and six times the damage respectively per unit of traffic as Lithuania.
The Conclusion and Formation of the "Perfect" Alliance
Where does each nation in V3 stand and how do each of their roles fall in line with the what the Alliance needs?
Poland - The Big Brother and obvious power-house A of the group, Poland works in mysterious ways as they try to stay out of Lithuania's path as much as possible as not to upset the delicate balance that they (Poland) built. Poland is the end of the line and takes orders from no one.
Lithuania - Here we have an interesting dynamic. Lithuania can claim power house B of the alliance as they command enough respect with their damage potential. Also, a lot has been sacrificed to keep Lithuania fat, happy, and as content as can be. Which is exactly why I have deemed them... the sacrificial lamb. They are the scapegoat of the group and act as the exit strategy for V3 if all were to go horribly wrong. If and potentially when the alliance begins to crumble from outside pressure, Lithuania is the prime target for everyone else to turn their backs on. They are the greediest and have taken the most, they aren't the masterminds, and will struggle to find alliances post-V3. By far, Lithuania needs the alliance more than any other nation.
Indonesia and Brazil - I have deemed this pairing to be the Little Finger equivalent of the eSim world. They have positioned themselves well and get more of the spoils than they deserve. Born into this world as Little Finger did, with nothing, they have done just fine for themselves as they scheme their way up the rungs of the ladder.
Greece and South Korea - This pairing is a much more straight-forward comparison. They are the scrappy yet oddly-fierce watch dogs of the group. Widely regarded as a pair of the strongest and most organized nations in the world, South Korea and Greece serve their masters with the utmost of loyalty -- and in return get fed the scraps of the luxurious feast that is being served at the V3 table.
Romania and Israel - This pairing of nations compares to your two buddies who consume so much alcohol and inhale or inject so many illegal drugs that they aren't quite sure of who or where they are the next morning. Being used for buffers into the hot zones of Poland and Greece respectively, these two nations just seem lost.
There you have it. The formation of the perfect alliance. The mastermind who benefits no matter what, the sacrificial lamb who remains fat and plump just as long as all is going well, the undeserved benefactors, the mistreated but loyal muts, and the residential town drunks.
As always, I appreciate your comments, likes, and subs. I apologize for the wall of text, but hope it serves its intended purpose.
Thank You & Goodnight,
