It's presidential election time!
It's time for action and time for real change. It's time to reassert this country as one of the major powerhouses in e-sim. I am ready to lead us there. Allow me to explain what I am about and what I plan to accomplish as president.
I feel I have an extremely strong track record on this server. I spent half a year in South Korea with my friends from foh/rerolled forums, and was a valued and contributing member there. I left for Denmark to get involved with blitz and that country, and went on to help Owen, Ouzo and TJC form the Delta alliance, where I was a competent and capable leader and excellent at foreign relations. I certainly made mistakes, such as putting too much faith in the empire's stability, but overall I consider my run at leadership to be overwhelmingly positive and certainly something I have no shame in advertising here. I am confident that the people I negotiated with, from Hungary's leaders in the early days to Brazil most recently, will all vouch that I am a sociable and respectful person who can negotiate fairly without resorting to personal attacks or childish antics. I would hope that even enemies and rivals I have dealt with respect me. Plus, I was voted Mr. Secura!
As president, I plan to take part in a number of changes. This country needs an overhaul and this is my plan for it:
#1 As outlined in my plan upon coming to the country, my first priority is to have america secure and on the map. I will do whatever is necessary to achieve this. Now that the USA regions are finally free, I intend to hold them by recognizing that they are only free due to fortunate circumstances and steps must be taken to strengthen the country militarily or the USA could be overrun again. We will do this by focusing on improving the way citizens fight and rewarding intelligence in battle, using intelligence if and when expanding, and avoiding becoming entangled in silly massive global alliance politics.
#2 My domestic overhauls will involve congress and cabinet accountability, and a reverse to how strikes is run. I have no real interest in things like a housing program or strong tax reform; these things can come if they will but are hardly my ambition. What I want is to establish a system where smart leaders are recognized and bad leaders ostracized. I want smart hitters to be rewarded while beggars, mooches and just downright lazy fighters are cut from the strikes welfare program. I want everyone to see and hear all about who is doing well, and who is either bad or inactive, in the government. I want the country to run well at every level, not merely at the very top.
#3 My foreign policy will involve concrete agreements. I want firm deals and alliances that can be counted on. I didn't trust the USA when I led delta, and I hardly expect others to when I take leadership here. This needs to change, and firm agreements with clearly-laid-out goals and stipulations are going to be how I go about it. The days of 'you scratch my back I'll scratch yours' friendships and 'we'll help you if we're not busy' alliances are over. Alliance membership will come only from mutual interests with clear stipulations about what the expectations are. This country will not be making haphazard friendships anymore.
#4 Getting America back in top shape with multiple high regions and a stable USD will probably take a long time; possibly longer than my term as president. I will work hard at these things, but most importantly, I am all about the systems that will get us there and keep us there so that the country can confidently rely on any non-idiotic successor to continue leading the USA to greatness. I have no intention of establishing a jackist-like empire that can't be sustained by people who follow; I want the complete opposite! Occupied regions will only be taken if they have a clear and definable short-term value, or an easy and stable way to be held for long-term profit. We will not look to take ANY territory over that requires outside assistance to hold once conquered.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
