Hello my fellow sAustralians!
First I wish to thank all my supporters for three things: getting my personal highest voted article last week, electing me as Congressman in the top 3, and your continued support. I am very appreciative. This week's covered topic is another simple one, everything about medals. Let's dive right in!
1-Importance of Medals:
Medals are like rewardable achievements that award the player with 5 Gold (spendable on stock, companies, salary, international/game currency, buffs etc.), a medal on their profile, and possible achievement unlocks. Medals are crucial as they are the one of only four ways for players to acquire gold, other than purchasing it, converting a currency into gold (trading with others), or leveling up. Rare medals are also important for the prestige they bring to the player due to the difficulty some are to acquire. Medals are often considered one of the main goals of a players and modify their behavior to get as many as possible (ex. strategic hitting for BH medal). However, the importance of each medal varies greatly and some are nearly impossible to get. I will go over each of the nine medals and talk about their specifics.

2-Congress Medal:
How to get: The congress medal is awarded to players that become an elected congress man/women (election on the 25th of every month) by getting into the top 20 most voted players that candiate (21-23rd).
Notes: To get the Congress Medal, you must be elected and if you become congressman in another manner (Civil War or first 20 to register in country) you will not receive this medal. Getting this medal also (indirectly) awards the player with 50xp as that is the reward for becoming part of congress.
Profitable? Yes, as entering the congress election is free 5 Gold will stay in the player's pocket unless the country requires it.

3-Presidential Medal:
How to get: Similar to the Congress Medal, you get awarded with a Presidential Medal for being elected President (candidate on 2-4th and election on the 5th).
Notes: Again, the player must be elected and if the player becomes president in another manner (CW or first to register in country) the player will not receive this medal. Getting this medal also (indirectly) awards the player with 500xp as that is the reward for becoming part of congress.
Profitable? No, since entering the presidential election costs 10 Gold winning will only recoupe 5 Gold for a loss of 5 Gold . However, there is a case to be made for the attention the player gets (MMM) and the 500XP for leveling.

4-Super Soldier Medal:
How to get: Train (augment strength) for 30 days (don't need to be consecutive)
Notes: The first of the common medals, the SSM is known for coming along passively and only requiring the training (My Places > Train) of the player for 30 days. You gain strength (more damage) and 4xp for training.
Profitable? Yes, since training is free after 30 days the Gold will be free to spend!

5-Society Builder Medal:
How to get: Invite 10 new players to the game, have them sign up using your invitation link (found at My Places > Invite Friends), and have them reach level seven.
Notes: Each 10 players you have invited, linked to your account, and have a different IP (not on the same internet connection) that all reach level seven will award a medal.
Profitable? Yes, you are already making 10% of all gold earned by reffered players (+5 Gold for reaching level 7) and on top of that the inviter gets a medal for each 10 of these players talk about profitable!

6-Media Mogul Medal:
How to get: Awarded for each 100 subscribers to the respective player's newspaper.
Notes: To start a newspaper, go to My Places > Newspaper and you can start one for 2 Gold . You can look at your subscriber counter on the top-right of the newspaper page and have the option yourself.
Profitable? Yes, even the first MMM will more than recoupe the cost of a newspaper (3 Gold profit). Keep in mind, this isn't the easiest medal to get and lotteries are now illegal.

7-Hard Worker Medal:
How to get: Work in companies 30 days in a row.
Notes: As opposed to a SSM, a HWM must be 30 consecutive days. You can only work in companies if you are located in the country they are. You gain a salary and 5xp for working.
Profitable? Yes, like the SSM the HWM comes passively plus you are gaining xp, a salary and/or supplies.

8-Battle Hero Medal:
How to get: Deal the highest (can be tied for first) damage in a round for the defending or attacking side.
Notes: As opposed to all other medals, the BHM is not limited in time (ex. every 30 day for CM, PM, HWM, SSM) or in amount of ressources (RWM) and is relatively easy to get (as opposed to SBM or MMM). This means the BHM is by far the most common medal overall and the easiest to profit a lot from.
Profitable? Yes, so long as the supplies (buffs and products) used to acquire the BHM are less than 5 Gold a profit can be made.

9-Resistance Medal:
How to get: Start a successful Resistance War.
Notes: A resistance war is a battle that can be started by any player for 20 Gold in a base region occupied by another country by going to the respective's region page (ex. South Australia is currently occupied by sIndonesia and the region page is here ).
Profitable? No, a RM is impossible to profit from directly as starting a RW costs 20 Gold which is more than the 5 Gold reward.

10-Tester Medal:
How to get: Suggest admin a new game idea/ find an uncommon bug or glitch/ somehow contribue to eSim's betterment.
Notes: Suggestions can be done through an article or sending the report to the admin's email (railman85@gmail.com). I remain unsure as I don't know how to get recognized.
Profitable? Yes, although hard to obtain

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
