Welcome to the tenth article in my continuing series on Gold Usage, covering Days 229 to 242 (April 11th through April 24th).

Despite a World War event, overall weapon expenditures were only up 1.6% this period, increasing from 156,362g to 158,895g. While Q5 weapon usage increased by almost 20%, it was offset by lower usage of Q1 and Q3 weapons over the two week period.

Countries Ranked by Total Gold Spent on Weapons

Blue Team captain Poland increased its spending by 4.5% to almost 14,000 gold, while its red team counterpart, Lithuania, increased spending by 4.0% to 11,183g. Poland's use of 25k Q5 weapons seems noteworthy.

Thanks mostly to mmacke4 , USA continues to raise weapon spending and even managed to gain a rank with #6.

Iran has made a ridiculous leap from 15th place last period (3,959g) to 5th (6,988g). That is a 76.5% increase in spending!

Countries Ranked by Average Gold Spent on Weapons per *Active Citizen

*Active: someone who fought during this period.

South Korea remains on top by spending almost 34 gold per citizen. Malaysia is a close 2nd with 33 gold per citizen.

Greece makes an impressive 3rd place given their large population, but really their spending pattern did not change much from last period. Instead, Pakistan, Australia, Sweden, and Denmark all took a tumble, although the first two are due to significant increases in headcount.

Denmark is almost completely gone from the world stage, spending 650g total - barely more than Rec . Peru has not made the corresponding gains I had expected...

Military Units Ranked by Total Gold Spent on Weapons

Heavyweight Gloria Victis is still on top with no significant change in damage or spending from last period. Again they used more Q5 weapons (14k) than any country outside of Poland.

Citizens Ranked by Total Gold Spent on Weapons

Another day, another citizen leaderboard with Rec head and shoulders above the competition.

Most Expensive Battle

The most expensive battle was Sumatra with 4,285g worth of weapons used. That is a far cry from the usual 6k+ gold spending seen in past periods.

Obviously that is because of this:

Most Expensive World War

Yes, Secura's first World War was this period, forcing all other battles to take a break while alliances were flipped on their head and countries duked it out to the tune of 30,632 gold.

Fighters: 4,978
Q1 : 290,370
Q2 : 6,726
Q3 : 16,640
Q4 : 2,664 (where the hell did these come from???)
Q5 : 70,090

The winning Blue Team represents the following from those totals:

Gold: 17,252 (56.3%)
Fighters: 2,795 (56.2%)
Q1: 165,975 (60.8%)
Q2: 4,268 (63.5%)
Q3: 10,295 (61.9%)
Q4: 1,620 (60.8%)
Q5: 38,297 (54.6%)

So, I guess the average Blue team fighter spent 6.2g and received a medkit plus a medal worth 5g. Not too bad.

I was surprised to see that less than half of the Active population participated in the battle.

Let's look at the breakdowns:

Top 30 Countries

Top 30 Military Units

Top 30 Citizens

Congratulations to Psyho , no relation to #30 EF Golub (right, XenosGV ?), for spending 192 gold on a single battle.

In closing, I do want to say that I think this will be my last bi-weekly gold update. I will try to do it at least once a month and include weapon trends. That means the next one should be at the end of May.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
